I retired from the USCG (24 yrs) in 1995...I spent my last four years in Yokota...I have always loved Japan...But I loved Thailand much more...I lived on Guam for quite a few years ...but after my wife died (She was from Palau/Guam). I decided to return to Thailand and retire for good..I had worked here in the early 70s during the Vietnam conflict)....Best of luck to you...Hope everything works out. Cheers

I love Thailand as well. If I were going to live anywhere other than Japan, it would be Thailand. I tried to explain the vibe of Thailand to people who have never been there before. To me, it seems like even the sun shines different in Thailand. It's so beautiful and vibrant there. I'll be there next month and again in October.

Shucks that being away from your home is gettin you down. In my language id say you're "mahålang" ❤ spent alot time in jp, i miss it dearly and holds a very very very very special place in my heart! I cannot wait to visit soon! I miss my island tho😢 and if you're still on my island during the holidays id love to show you some proper southern hospitality :) your footage is so so nice im enjoying your videos:)

I was very tired. I had been up all night preparing for the flight back to Guam. It was hard to decide on what I wanted to leave at home and what I wanted to take back to Guam 🤣🤣🤣
