Wow Dawn Wow, Very, Very Raw and Real. Thank you for trusting us all with your vulnerable side. Have No Regrets on making and putting this video up. As us woman need to have each others backs and know that we all have times in life that look exactly like this. And there are periods on holding this energy longer than the time before. You are a brave soul and this is not the first time I have witness you do this. I admire you honesty and strength in sharing your raw self, in this particular time in your life. I totally hear you when you talk of tarot bring home the truth. Everyday...well most days I pull some cards. Tarot is like a friend who never holds back. She will smack in it the face some days with her truth and hold me so tender and close the next day. I love her dearly as she helps shape my thoughts patterns and breaths new energy with in me. She always hold me accountable for my actions. Before Tarot I was a different person. I have been collecting decks since I was 17. Today and I mean actually today I am 55. Its my Birthday. I had a hard tough child hood. Really tough. My life didn't mean any thing to me until I left home. (escaped). And for many years i just kept running. Ashamed and ugly...all the things. But I now stand tall loving every fibre in my body. I am awesome and I mean it. Not in a look at me and I have tickets on myself way. But from a space of inner wisdom that I have created through hard work and inner desire to change my thought patterns. Tarot has help me and held me every step of the way. No lies...she has kept it so real and pushed for my growth as much as I have. Thank you for sharing and reflecting with us and most of all thank you for trusting us. Thank you for sharing what is in your thoughts. To me out here, what you do looks completely coherent, makes sense and has been very grounding. Your art is beautiful, you are a natural, you invest time in the creative process. And we all benefit from what you end up producing. It inspires us. I recognise the messiness of the creative process and my house is filled with 'possibilities' of materials, cards, glues, paints, you name it. But Mother Nature is the same. It took her millions of years to develop the perfect flower, the perfect creatures to inhabit this planet. I just think you are very in tune with the creative process and that it is others (or ourselves within! or my bank account?!)) who judge the messy element of this process. Also: have another interest that you go to which is just grounding and follows a straightforward step by step process which you have to follow, so you can get out of your creative head occasionally. Eg gardening or a sport or something maybe. I tap dance! Just from my own experience. All the best and thank you for all your inspiration to my life

Wild wondering. Kelly F once called the show 1923 a Hero’s Journey and the Hero is a woman. I watched it and it is my most recommended video to everyone. I knew a director who said you're a professional actor if you get paid for it. For me, I get paid for writing, but it's perhaps not the writing I'd choose to do, so when I do that writing, then I'm a writer. To get through the day everybody has to be creative, but maybe creative people structure their day around creativity. But my ultimate rule of thumb on what creativity means is from Stephen Sondheim: "look, I made a hat, where there never was a hat!". 🎨

I can relate to the jumble of ideas and thoughts flowing from the subconscious mind. It is interesting how they seem to jump around but come together in the end. That is true about tarot "We all see what we need to see in the moment." Great reflection and video!
