In a sense he also implies that we need a livelihood "unfortunately", but inwardly he underlines that he doesnt mind if its suceesfull or not. I did just that...my sister and I took our jackets and walked out of our home after my mother and father died. It has been a rollercoaster ride ever since. But and a beeg but. We survived the turmoil, but unfortunately it got to my sister after 20years. But I have learnt one thing as my mother would say. Other people's Grace is usually a Grace from Hell...in other words people take from U more than they are willing to offer. Actually I discovered giving is ugly, it is better to SHARE than to give. Cos, the expectations are too survere and expectations are too damning, one suffers much from those encounters especially if it's from people who are Religious bigots... Cos, they love coming back at one to condemn one for no rhyme or reason...it is really the results of giving that they have the power and upper hand to condemn people less fortunate, it is just how it is, just the way of the World unfortunately so...😮

I fully understand, and it happened countless times with me. The ending of this disappointment is: We have to take full responsibility. If someone helps, we always have to stay responsible for the outcome. And vice versa: If we want to help someone, we have to consider whether we really want to help him or whether we secretly want to get something in return. ❤
@Laker247725 ай бұрын
@@traudilepse4251When one gives unconditionally it is actually more like them sharing themselves, their true self. I think what the original commenter means is that 'giving' becomes more about a process of demanding things from others. 'Sharing' has an openness to it and there is not attention drawn to events, objects, and capabilities but instead attention can be drawn to the people's own selves and the Life and Love that brings them together, that creates the experience. Sharing has an emphasis on the appreciation for what already truly is.

You must keep up with your duties, because if you fail with them, how are you supposed to lead a good life? Because of this, many times advice given to monks or people who have renounced family life is not literally applicable to people in charge of a family. However, in this case I think if you have faith in God (or Life, etc.) and you do each day what you need to do (you are not negligent towards your duties), you can live in complete confidence towards what is to come, "not minding what could happen", trusting that whatever it is, God will help you, and even in the worst case you will have done what was possible to you, so you can accept it and offer any pains that you or your family suffer to God.

That is why he has the time to think and say these things. He couldn't have sat on a chair saying he has no expectation , and then live hungry. He will surely get up and look for some food and he will expect food.
