I am a older sister, but I understand what Harin feels. My parents taught me to always look out for my younger sister. They taught me that siblings should have each other’s back. Our parents make sure we were treated equally.

Same here. I can feel the pain of Harin. But my parents treated me well when my elder sis didnt. But in Harin's case his parents are not reacting at the right time. If this continued will not be good time for long run.

The commentators and me are also the youngest siblings and we relate too much 🥹 I feel so bad that when Harin grows up, he will feel left out and will hate his brother so much

Okay I felt so agitated watching this clip. Like dude come on 🤌 I like how Harin is vocal about his emotions at this young age and knows how he should be treated. The parents are too ignorant of their youngest child and they sure need some suggestions. This will ruin the bond between the brothers.

Nazia I felt exactly the same. I really don’t understand how both parents can’t see that they are undermining Harin. When he was in the corner on the floor wiping his tears after they said he couldn’t help to wash the dishes was pretty heartbreaking & the dad laughing when he witnessed this was incomprehensible to me. I found it cruel. He’s a great kid love how vocal & strong willed he is. My one hope is that when the parents watch this back or even have some of these comments relayed to them they realise that they are doing a huge disservice to their second son. It’s ridiculous that they kept comparing the two boys as not only are they two very different kids but there is a significant age difference too.

Yeees exactly! Listening and hearing are diffirent from understanding. To think that at a young age, Harin can communicate and express his feelings well is amazing. This is wrong in so many ways. I felt what Harin felt as the youngest. I'm the youngest in my family & well an adult now but I'm reminded of my past. The words & actions they used on a young child can hurt and scar him for his entire life. And not knowing why he sulks when they're the ones not acknowledging his emotions & feelings is so wrong. I hope the parents realise that each child is different, and needs different kinds of attention & love.

Younger siblings who get neglected at a young age tend to keep these moments as core memories that keep affecting their relationship and judgement with their older relatives even during adulthood. I think it's critical that someone corrects the parents soon or things will only get worse.

Why can't Harin help mom wash the dishes? They can wash it together and interact more by doing that. To be honest I was really happy to see him wanting that even though it looked like he was just following his brother. But their reaction was bad. Also when playing basketball, why didn't dad give Harin a chance to play? he can't even touch the ball. Then about the bicycle, at first I thought it was a surprise gift for Harin.. but it wasn't.. even though I thought Harin could try using a new bicycle, the size was enough for Harin, not big. I didn't understand when dad said he gave love to Harin and let him do what he wanted. Is this really happening or just for show??

As a parent, you cannot just tell your kid, be it the youngest or not, thing like, "you cannot," "you are just," and things comparing him/her to his/her siblings. It really is bad. The parents need to stop emphasizing on he is the first born! They should be treated equally and give the little one more attention too. This kind of little things create stuff in kid’s minds. I’m a middle child and it makes me so happy when my younger siblings are happy and even if they get little more attention, I can understand as the older one but neglecting younger ones ain’t nice. Infact neglecting anyone isn’t cool cus we’re all human at the end of the day and have feelings wether younger or older!

I couldn’t help but laugh when they cut to the baby bike. How is he possibly supposed to ride that toddler bike?!😂 Maybe if he had a bike his size he’d ride it more. As a younger sibling I’ve had my fair share of hand me down’s and even as a 21-year-old I find myself scavenging through my older sisters stuff. I think the real issue is that for whatever reason he doesn’t feel like he’s being equally rewarded. I think if they aren’t willing to spend money on something new for him then they should put a little more effort into making each item feel more meaningful.

I understand Harin so much bc I’m a middle child (well technically no but yes at the same time bc I’m the second youngest, I have 3 other sisters) and I’m treated like one. In my case I can never open up about how I feel bc I once did and my mom said “why are u always so difficult, well let u use/get something later.” And that really hurt me. And I reason with the wanting new things too bc I ALWAYS get hammy downs, like the phone I’m using, it’s my second oldest sisters old phone. Most of my clothes are also hammy downs. But on my sisters side (even my youngest sister) they get anything they want, and my mom always buys them new things, without me. And when I ask her “can you buy me something too?” She says “oh I don’t have anymore money sorry sweetie” and I can never say anything bc then she would say “why are u like this, I don’t have money can you try to understand for once?” Etc Harins parents don’t know how much it can affect a kid. I’m only 14, so imagine how Harin would feel in a few years too..

You shouldn’t give him free reign of what he wants. Let him handle a bit of responsibility. He can be the one in charge of setting the placemats for meals, or something similar that will be easy but still important to do. And not everything needs to be brand new, but it’s nice to have some things that are just your own. Like buying him a pair of socks with a cartoon that he likes. Or getting him a cool helmet that he can wear when he’s riding a bike.

Toxic parenting. If you can't handle two child equally why decide to have another kids ? Just give birth to one person. It may seems funny to them, but this surely gonna effect his mental growth, there's a diff between teaching your child not to become a spoil brat and favouring one child. In this case, its favouring one child alone. Parents need to teach, explain and corrected child's mistake or misbehaviour not told them off every single time. Don't blame the kid when he start growing hatred or distancing himself from the family.

I feel bad for Harin. I'm an only child so I don't know how to be treated differently or equally with siblings. But many of my friends talk about their stories in their households. Whether they're the oldests or the youngests or the middle children, there's always this favouring thing I can feel in their stories. After hearing those and watching this kind of videos, I feel happy that I'm the only child because all my parents love, favoritism or literally everything goes to me. But at the same time, I feel very devastated that I don't have siblings. Can't help but feel envy and also happy at the same time whenever I see siblings together. Idk lmao. I have mixed feelings towards this sibling thing as an only child. And in this case, judging only by this video, I can't help but feel sad for Harin. Like the other comments said, this kind of things can affect this child's mental health and also the brothers' relationship. The younger boy will always be feeling left out and not worth of himself if this continues! Even an only child like me can feel his sadness but their parents can't?? Why favour only one child and leaving the other one like he's not capable of anything. Him being younger doesn't excuse parents behavior. He must be young. But you can include him in many things. You guys took him to play basketball but didn't let him play. I know children can't do what adults do. But the parents could have let him play 🥺 This is real life and real people. Parents should treat their children equally!

At first I thought they were joking. This is definitely a serious issue if one of your children is crying and you sit and laugh and say you don’t understand the problem. Why don’t you sit and TRY to understand? No two kids are the same, you can’t treat them the same and expect the same result. One might need more care and attention or even an entire different parenting style.

As a younger sibling to parents who are older siblings I totally get the lil guy! They don’t understand what they’re doing and how it hurts your feelings. Hopefully the parents realize their baby needs a little more attention lol kids can be very dramatic at this age but sometimes it’s okay to indulge them, you gotta find the middle ground to love and support both kids. Telling him his older brother is more mature and that he should listen to him more is great, he needs to learn that respect BUT dishes? Basketball? They could’ve let him stand on a step stool and help dry the dishes under mom’s watch and das could’ve let him make at least one basket or offer up at least one “우아~ 하린 농구 잘해!” Or something lmao

They should focus on both the child it's not how u treat ur child later he will hate them a grudge will always be there in his heart and those wounds will never heal .ik it's just a show but how the parents are ignoring harin and being careless is so hurtful to watch

The way they're treating Harin can affect his character development and who will he be in the future.

Parenting sucks in this household.. Harin's parents words and actions are like sharp knives for a kid who's starting cognitive and emotional development.. People even Harin's family are saying he is bratty are horrible.. Come on! He is at the age of development, clearly he needs attention.. The more he's being ignored the more he find ways to ask for attention.. Also, comparing him to his brother will only leave a huge scar as he grows up.. Harin's parents should think about his concerns before it's too late.. Still thinking of having another child is ridiculous.. They can't even handle two..

nowdays, kid can get early mental sickness. children cant control their own emotion and psychology, the pain if too overwhelming can be a trauma. parents should never take this matter so easily. children deserve to be love at the same rate. no matter how old are they

i think they are being biassed i know that older people loves to play with people they know that was like in their level or can somehow rich their capacity of doing something but the child or the second child needs attention too he needs to experience being favoured not very often but it doesnt mean you should not include him in some activities i think thats why there are some jealousy or that is why jealousy is sometimes building on some childs mind because that age is really the age of you know like they can feel lots of emotion and can be sensitive they want attention not being left out and also being compared is not giving a motivation or inspiration to a child its worse to compare youre child to another well you can make them understand in a better way without comparing them because it sometimes lower their confidence and soon or in the future you might see them isolating themselves because of that i mean that could be one of the reason but yeah it is only my opinion i feel bad for harin 🙂

The father says they let Harin do whatever he wants but from the actions in this video it’s very clear that’s not the case at all. Harin wants to help with the dishes yet his parents tell him off and say he would just be in the way. Harin wants to play basketball but his father tells him he should just be ref instead. How is that letting your kid do what the kids want. It’s very clear Harin wants to be included in activities too just like his older brother, but his family clearly don’t want to adapt to Harin’s level because it’s to much of a nuisance for them. His parents could have easily let Harin do another chore or maybe even let him do the dishes with his brother so that he could learn to work together with his brother as well as feel included. I find the father especially childish, laughing so openly because your child is upset. I know that from an adults point of view it’s sometimes funny to see your kid get upset about something that seems so trivial to you, but understand that from the child’s perspective this isn’t something trivial at all. Mocking their feelings so openly is really upsetting. The parents exclude him from activities because he’s not on the same level as his brother and they don’t want to adapt to his level and then they wonder why he’s upset. I really hope that this is just a one time thing or that the parents improve their parenting skills. Otherwise i wouldn’t be surprised if Harin one day just gives up and stops trying to be included in family activities.

Not only in Korea , even in India too, as I am younger all the older ones comes to me even my brother, brother in law~ whenever their shirts are tight to use for them they give their belongings to me. My father whenever his t-shirts not fit even those comes to me. I always ask them , am I the only one that everyone gives their belongings when they don’t fit. But one thing was always ask me before they give it to me and they give the new ones. They bring new things and put aside after years they really don’t fit then it comes to me 😂😂😂😂

And then parents tell the younger children that they love them all equally I feel really sad about that and they don't even think they separate us She's always their favorite and I'm always the bad guy for my mental health it became bad because of this and got angry quickly and in the end they forget everything they did and remember my anger and my complaining and my jealousy why would I change if it was treated equally

Now, I don't if there is some evil editing in this clip, but from the video it is obvious that they prefer the oldest son.

I actually don't feel bad for harin at all because he need to learn how to respect his older brother and if they don't teach him now , he will probably be spoiled .
