In 1988 I was four years old. And I believe this was my first movie I watched on VCR. Then the DVD, DVD surround sound, DVD blue ray, DVD 3d and right now the cellphone Android. My grandfather called the cellphone "the telecommunicator." He even predicted one day we'll be able to walk inside our own movies. Maybe even talk to our heros. Grandparents ain't they the greatest.

Clint came right out of the gate as a legend. Westerns would have arguably died off long ago had he not. Credits to the director for seeing the "Grit"-factor that he has inherently. Haven't seen anyone come within a country mile of him at playing a "bad guy doing good" or if you'd rather the "Anti-Hero" archetype. He truly seemed bad in his general actions, while still keeping a semblance of having good morals at the core. So happy I own the trilogy, many people have forgotten this gem nowadays, but it'll never truly be forgotten.

Leone was a genius. His shot compositions were pieces of art. And his collab with Morricone took it to the next level. Notice the flute trill on the poncho drop at the end. Secondly, been seeing comparisons here between Clint n Keanu. Apples n oranges. Different times,budgets, and technology. Though I must say Clint’s personality, demeanour and husky drawl make a killer combo for the character
