For anyone who doubts Rob, I just want to let all the new people know that Rob was one of the only influencers talking about taking profits in November. When every single person was talking about 100K, 160K Bitcoin and everyone was laughing at Rob or judging him for taking profits, he sold some right at the top. This doesn't mean he's always going to be right -- nobody can definitively predict markets, but he's definitely someone worth listening to.

Completely agree with this comment. Many KZbinrs weren't giving their subs the possibility the market could.turn on them. Rob is laid back and talks normally to his subs. Investors need to listen to channels like this rather than moon boy (leverage) channels. Long term, it'll pay off. Just have patience.

The problem is the coins that are closed, that are minted. Their open for rugpulls and fraud... The coins that are open, mined, and limited and truely decentralized are more immuned from the fraud and rugpulls.

Some of those same people making 20k predictions might fomo in after an unexpectedly good bounce, only to watch it turn around and wick to their original bottom target. It happens.

Thanks Rob. I was scared at one point last week during the depeg of UST and the crash of the Luna price. It was when BTC fell straight through a series of potential supports below $30K. At the same time even strong alts were tumbling. It reminded me of the stock market crash of 1987 - freefall. But there were huge positions in BTC waiting to be bought and I wouldn't be surprised if the Wall Street firms waiting to put on these positions (for clients?) helped BTC to fall. I have learned more about the Terra/Luna stable coin algorithm since the depeg (I lost $2475 all told on my Luna position, so had skin in the game) and it seems to me it could have been simulated before deployment under lots of different market conditions, including the ones we saw. It was way too simple an algorithm, there were no coefficient adjustments as the peg was lost or anything that might have stabilized it. As UST fell more Luna was minted, but that reduced the price of Luna - clearly a positive feedback mechanism. There are analogies in electronic circuits where either simulation or an analysis of "poles" and so forth would have shown the algorithm must fail. I believe an infallible algorithmic stable coin could be developed but it requires an engineering viewpoint. But I am pretty sure there will be more fallout from the debacle. Folks do not lose billions of dollars with a calm mind. I think we shall see more contagion. I think the regulators (nuts like Elizabeth Warren) will be too heavy handed and exacerbate things. It has got me rethinking about alt coins. I had 3 alts with the same stable coin / yield faming rationale (LUNA, FTM, COTI) so hardly diversification. Since 2020 my alt coin adventures have been either a wash or a loss. Fortunately, BTC is by far the most of my portfolio, with ETH then USDC the runners up. When you were showing that declining BTC chart and saying buying the dip was not a good idea, if you were interested in the long term rather than maintaining the instantaneous value of your BTC, it was exactly the right idea because you were buying more BTC with each constant expenditure.
