I don't really know of or follow super strict notation guidelines, mostly just write whatever gets the point across most effectively. You'll see that with different kinds of tabs since this isn't sheet music. Good luck!

Finger strength is only part of it, there's a chance your amp might be too quiet, or not have enough distortion or gain! Those make a big difference too

those are just standard tab notations from ultimate guitar. b means bend, br means bend then release, p means pull off
