The question that is unanswered in this saga is this. If a.k.a. Sir Edwards is an American. He can not own land in Kenya unless he becomes a citizen of Kenya, otherwise, he can lease the land for 99 years. Who owns the land that the house was built on? That is the person the Chief needs to begin to question. The owner of the plot of land had to have had close contact with Sir Edwards. If there even is a Sir Edwards.

You're a hardworking young man but don't fleece someone who trusted you. Ksh 8.3m is a duplex 3/4 bedroom house in a city with normal finishes. For the village, the house costs at most Ksh 4m with the land and perimeter wall. The cost of connecting power is less than $500. The house doesn't look like it had a plan and required county, NCA, and NEMA approvals. Finishes aren't done yet. You guys should work together and resolve your issues. Fleecing someone that much isn't the wisest of things to do. All the best.
