I at least 90% of the time dream of being on my way towards somewhere (taking a bus, train, subway, airplane, car, walking...) but the dream is about the journey and not the destination (I always wake up before reaching it). Most of the remaining 10% is just me going back to school, even though I graduated more than 20 years ago, and it leaves me with an uncomfortable feeling of unachievement, like how come I still haven't graduated after all these years?? Is it just me? I can't explain why or what it means.
@Darkestestmatter5 ай бұрын
Hmm, I also have dreams from time to time that I haven't graduated the university and that the final exams are right around the corner and always, within the dream still,I come gradually to the realization that I actually graduated a long time ago and then wake up. What's up with that huh? Why is my subconscious mind bringing me to that time again and again ?
@hs79215 ай бұрын
If there is no destination, that is telling me that somewhere inside yourself you don’t really know where you want to go. You are on a journey but there is no destination. I would suspect that for some reason you don’t have enough self-esteem to be able to find a way forward. I guess it’s kind of like a mild form of anxiety. But if you are dreaming about it regularly it’s clearly something significant going on that you are not aware of. As kitsch as it sounds, clearly there’s something from way back in your early childhood that’s holding you back. And it’s not a single incident. It’s more likely but for a significant period of time in your early years you weren’t encouraged or given self-confidence.

@@hs7921 In my dreams, I have a goal at my fingertips, but I can't reach it, because on the short road to it, various obstacles, situations and tasks (and often created by my parents) keep coming to me, which I solve, but they never allow me to reach my goal.

we dream what we stored in memory the most strongly. That means the time adults took the disruption and unwanted work out of your way and you were forming your most complex thoughts. Always high school and nearby areas, sometimes college [for some people]. And some movies/games/vacations one experiences during a non-anxious time when high emotional resources are available. Comfortable with high emotional resources and structured schedules creates the strongest memory formation (and healthy diet). . (stressful disruptions from adult life's chores and work drain our emotional resources thud weakening memory formation.) (I know this from both study and firsthand experiences. people remember the most positive and emotional aspects of things easily. Emotional Willpower is crushed by stress, anger, and fear. Especially for a long time.) (-Find Your Sanctuary or Lose Your Memory-)

There is an old science fiction film called The Crawling eye with Forrest Tucker that people call corny because the monsters are clutsy. but that's missing the point. you watch that movie late at night and it will come back in a more realistic and haunted way. Some of these movies are poorly made but they have the idea and that gets across anyway. but the crawling eye is definitely a movie that has cryo chamber Type movie soundtrack possibilities. there were several German bands and an English one that did professional level soundtrack recordings for old-time silent movies. cryo chamber might rip the soundtrack off of Old science fiction movies and do a soundtrack on them to bring them into the 21st century.

Read it as "I am a cosmic horror dream." I’m not sure that there is a difference between a sleeping person and those he dreams about - essentially it’s like running several copies of the same program with different parameters on one computer (brain). But a dream of cosmic horror? How does she look in the eyes of these creatures? What is she to them?

Thank you for me sleep tones. Can we get more dread and doom on the next? Possibly screaming and flames? The sound of exponential Armageddon? That's the good stuff. Helps me lucid dream so I can fight that shadow demon of a cunt. Been fighting it for years. When I Astral project, my cats see it too. My dogs are always asleep though. I look at my body and my sleeping wife, kids and dogs. My cats are on high alert. I think thats why I can't perfect flight without crashing is because of this shadow presence around my sleeping body. When it's time to wake up though, I no longer experience the holding down feeling.
