Some poker rooms won’t allow the move Moe pulled. Once he checks out of turn he really should be limited to non-aggressive action for that street

Since Brad bet there, the action changed. Therefore he is allowed to raise

I sell health insurance so Im working from a cubicle all day and always have my phone on the phone stand, and now I see its the perfect stand to bring to the poker tables as well. Which makes sense since its small and compact. Just thought it was a cool coincidence to see the stand in your video on the felt of one of my fav poker streamers.

Not really, it virtually ensures he's splitting or losing. The AJ/AT hands he comfortably beat, or a hyper aggressive KK now all improve. The value of your hand is how much you win * probability of winning. It increased his odds of splitting but drastically reduced his odds of winning.

I played low stakes Holdem at The Lodge for a month recently. Between the small & big blind forced bets, the membership fees and the $11 per hour "pay to play" fee: if you're card dead and/or whiffing the flop & turn when you do enter pots with playable cards? It's a no-brainer for me. Lost a good chunk of my bankroll and ran screaming back to So Cal & Las Vegas. Where I am, and always have been, a competent, profitable (recreational) low stakes poker player. Bottom Line guys and gals: From my limited 30 day experience, Austin's $1-$3 games are untenable. Can't imagine any other Texas poker rooms operate any differently than this one.

At 6:00, isn’t it normally a rule that if you check out of turn, you can then only call a bet before you? I feel like I’ve seen that enough times before and always had that outcome lol. Being able raise after checking out of turn seems like an an angle.
