I agree with everything you say here, Nancy. Speaking From experience, remember, short or long time for bar opening and alcohol time restrictions, people will take advantage and will try to drink as much within that 2 hour mark to get drunk. Either Hmong yeej tsis saum zoo kiag, txawm tag lawm los, yeej xyuas nyiaj yuav kom txaus haus mas thiaj li zoo kiag lawv siab. They want to drink to forget, not remember. 👎 Hmong people have a lot to learn, learn how to drink, and enjoy the event. Not get drunk and don't remember the event, but only remembered that they only attend.

I agree. When I host an event i direct the bar that no alcohol is served until dinner time.

Or have regulations such as no drinking until after 6pm to 9:00 pm . Alcohol should be ending two hours before party ends so that everyone is sober before driving home. ???

Story #1 I agree some people can be so rude at events. I agree with you Nancy about 2 hour drinking time but most event places won’t allow it bc that’s how they make their money. Story # 2 Don’t blame your wife for your stupidity and cheating ways.

My opinion 1) drinking- we need to limit the amount of alcohol given and those drinking should know their limit and show some respect by not being drunk and be rowdy at someone’s party. 2) etiquette- cleaning our mouth should be done in private. Floss privately. 3) we should be respectful when arriving late to be quiet let people who are talking speak without being interrupted.
