Here's my problem with removing hopper loot. Badlion UHC's respawn system did remove cheater loot and respawn dead players with their inventory. However, the likelihood that a host would actually find and ban the cheater was super high if not 100%, so often when I player encountered one, if they were sure they'd die, they would stop eating healing so that they would not respawn with less. Hypixel's current respawn system is supposed to heal you for all the damage that you take when fighting a hopper. However it is BROKEN. I've been on full health at the start of a fight exclusively with a hopper to get respawned with 4 hearts only. I find it very unlikely that Hypixel can accurately code a respawn system to heal me to the right health and match my healing correctly. Additionally, there is not close to a 100%, or even high, ban chance. So I the player am left with a choice when fighting. Do I burn all my healing to try and kill the cheater, and even if I get respawned, have lost so much of it I have no chance. Or do I drop with healing in hopes of being respawned with it, only to not be respawned. This last dilemma is my problem with removing hopper loot

Even with all the issues, I still believe that removing hopper loot is still the best option. This is the option of damage control. A hopper ruins the game for every player who they fight. The hopper loot ruins the entire game, even if the hopper gets banned. Yes, some players will be inevitably screwed over, but every is really in the same boat. The thing is, I hate this half-assed system they have right now. It's actually so bad, you just respawn completely screwed over. Either they should just scrap respawns and delete hopper loot, or they should create a full (and working) roll-back respawn system.

The thing about hopper loot is that you can’t necessarily do anything if you get revived if it were to be removed cause when you’re revived you’re literally full clean iron which is just so dumb imo It’s better than how it was before but it’s still horrible if hopper loot were to be removed unless they make a change to what you’re respawned with
