Amazing that the phone still worked. How was it possible that water didn't get in through the charging port or headphone port and damage the circuit board? I use a Samsung Android that is about 5 times cheaper than an iPhone, so I don't think my would work after that, but it's still a great phone and has big screen.

my friend dropped her fone into the canal last night, and we went on a midnight trip to try and rescue it. was waaay too dark though, i told her she's insane , because it's cold here, we're in ireland, dublin ... she's an artist though and a lot! of her fotos , and poetry, are on it. on the plus side, when she got into the water it was about 5/6 ft deep, but it was too dark, so she spent the rest of the night and came up with many of the ideas you tried, the net and the scoop, but we dunno any scuba divers here.... cheers for the video, it was helpful and informative, and glad you got your fone back , that was great to see him come up with iy in seconds! also, how cold was it , the lake? here it's shifting between 3-8°celsius. and wish us luck, think she might try again in daylight!!!

Thank you so much for this video! This video inspired me. I lost my iPhone 11 in the lake for 4 days and found it creating a device of go pro with 4 flashlights taped to a rod on a long pole. Never put iphone on rice it will be a big mistake rice gets inside the charging port it's hard to remove the rice from it. And that's bull that that phone worked I dropped mine in toilet .pulled out right away now screen doesn't work .rice bag don't work phone has water inside .no cracked screen .still there's water inside
