Such a great vides, so good to see Blake, Crystal and Sage, wow she’s growing so fast, just beautiful. Also all the haunted places that need investigating, hope this is what you have for the main channel. Got to agree Elliott and his group do a grand job too. There is no shame in getting drunk, it’s not often you get to chill with these guys and I was fully on Crystal’s side when she was worried you’d disappear into the woods overnight! The original baskets were peach baskets. Mr Naismith was a teacher at a training school in Springfield Massachusetts and it's now Springfield college. He saw firefighters playing a game with peach baskets. He took it back to the college because they needed an indoor sport for the winter. He developed the game and many of the students who attended the college were Canadians. I found this information in the Canadian encyclopedia. It became a popular game in Canada and had a big influence on the game. The basketball Hall of Fame is in Springfield, MA they give Mr Naismith the inventor of the game in Massachusetts credit. Therefore, the game was not invented in Canada but was brought to Canada by the students that attended the college. Canada had a strong influence on helping it gain popularity worldwide. At my high school graduation I had to listen to the principal tell the tale of basketball 🏀 actually being invented in Holyoke but was given to Springfield because that's where Mr Naismith worked. Then he went on to volleyball. Yes it was invented in Holyoke, but it was indoor volleyball. California invented the beach volleyball game. Just what you wanted to hear sitting in the hot sun. 😂 I don't know how he came up with that information because this was so long ago that the internet or Google wasn't even thought of.
