I Drove in Afghanistan under Taliban in Khost 🇦🇫

Khost , Afghanistan , after driving through Paktia and realizing it was too late to get to the park we wanted to visit, we decided to keep driving to khost City in Khost province . Khost surprised me at how modern it was compared to some places id been. We couldn’t find the ministry of Culture here to get the local permit to be able to walk around freely and make vlogs , so we ended up just making the journey back with a few as usual , entertaining interactions along the way , which included me shoveling snow ! As always the most welcoming kind lovely people as there aee everywhere in Afghanistan ! Love these road trips to different provinces , and yes i drove the car , ive seen multiple women drive in kabul , one was even in my livestream :)

Nice video! As an American we only see Kabul and when there is a problem. It is nice to see outside of Kabul and the other cities and towns. The culture is completely different than the US, but the people all seem to be very kind and gentle. The country is so beautiful. I hope more people from the West are able to visit and help change the perceptions of this country. It has had so much trauma over the past 40 years and it deserves peace, prosperity, and happiness. I hope to visit someday and also change perceptions of those Afghanis that think Americans may be bad or not likable. We know that there are a small portion of bad people in every country, but most are kind and good. Emma, Afghanistan should make you a Goodwill Ambassador for them. You are helping to improve their image.

Emma welcome to khost , once again visit khost its beautiful and modern . majority of khost people doing business in United Arab Emirates. the khost province is very rich compare the other provinces of Afghanistan its because of business only. Emma don not worry about some people questions because they learned basic English they dont know how ask someone politely but people are quite good and nice , And you are with Sultan (king) it mean you 100% safe , stay blessed .

I hope you had enjoyed visiting Khost. Ministry (the directorate) of Culture is in 1200 families line which is quite a famous place. I am sorry you could not find it. I would have suggested to visit the 1200 lines which is quite nice and modern as compared to other places in Khost where more NGOs and other offices operate.

Hey Emma hope you enjoy there in khost, I also come from Khost province. But you really didn't see Khost. Because you just go to a low level hotel but there is a good service hotel like you had in kabul. Also khost is too much modern and beautiful but you just go by this one road. Actually your translator was also strange there. Hope to come back and see the people and areas. My kind of heaven all the fresh fruit walnuts oh my. The tea looks so delicious it’s so funny in the United States restaurants are so outrageously expensive and hardly any food on the plates and lots of processed junk served in restaurants nothing fresh like in those restaurants.

Is registering and getting permits very different from before or is it similar? When I was in Russia and Uzbekistan I had to register at my hotels or hosts, but they automatically sent the papers to the government so I never had to go to the ministry office. I assume you always have to go to the office yourself in Afghanistan.

Totally different than any other country… you have to go to 2 ministries in Kabul for permits naming each province you will visit then you have to register in each province you go to …

I am happy he said its haram for the father to ask for money. It is the sunnah to give the future wife money but it should be according to the wealth. The money given to the wife is for the wife and however she sees fit to spend it! SubponaAllah what a beautiful religion. She of course can always say no payment is needed:)
