thank you!!! there is no need to feel guilt or shame. My old hair stylist didn’t let me go brown when I asked him to do it so I did it myself. Like i know i spent all this money and bleach on my hair but i’ve changed my mind now you know? You can either ask them to do it or let them know you’ll do it yourself. If you’re going completely natural then you won’t need touch ups, so you technically won’t be breaking up with your stylist. As long as you don’t mess up 😂

My natural hair color is dirty blonde and I hate it so my mom is dying it dark ash brown this weekend I'm so excited bc shes a professional and I've been wanting brown hair for so badddd (Edit: I wanted to talk about the box dye- yes it is very good for people on a budget and since it is cheap it's not gonna be the best for your hair. But only use professional hair dye if ur a professional bc you could end up ruining your hair. But just in general be careful when dying your hair and know the risks and read the directions very well.) :)

A beautiful colour that that looks natural on you. Well done! I think it suits you much better and looks healthier than your bleached blonde hair. I have been doing my own hair for several years. I'm also another person that has stopped bleaching my hair and have gradually gone dark by first using a dark blonde demi permanent box shade. Then using warm brown shades, gradually getting darker. At present, I have a demi permanent dark red brown shade. My dark brown natural colour is starting to grow back now. Healthy and shiny unnoticeable regrowth compared to the bleached blonde damaged lengths. I'll not be bleaching my hair again! X

Hairstylist bleached my hair and put on it kind of cold toned dye. I didn’t like the outcome so i bought light brown box dye and dyed my hair a few weeks ago. As you said earlier it was quite uneven and had green tones when it washed out a little bit. My question is, do you think that if i buy some kind of orange/redhead box dye, dye my hair with it and then put on the light brown box dye it’ll come out okay? For the record i now have a redhead-blond kind of color with some green undertones.
