Not only is it okay to make mistakes when you go out of your comfort zone, I think it can be good -- it shows that you really were pushing yourself.

People that don't actively surf will never understand how hard it is to feel comfortable learning because everyone is so mean and petty.

I never surfed, but I do know exactly what you mean. It's a primitive environment full of very unpleasant people.
@a.m.14013 ай бұрын
@@howardcroft3748 Yes, I surf every single week but now I try to find empty beaches only. I used to frequent the same beach every day for 4 years, great waves, even greater assholes there. I was mostly okay because my older male cousins all surf there and noone would fuck with me, but Ive seen a guy hit a 12 yr old on the head on purpose with his board bcs he was “blocking his waves”. This kid is by far the best surfer on the beach and has been surfing there for 6yrs, they know each other and are friends, not-only that the mother is also a friend of his. That’s how stupid these people are.

It's great that you tried the competition part of surfing. You should keep trying if you feel that it doesn't affect the way you feel about surf. You have a platform, you have support from brands and fans, so you have everything to live as a freesurfer (that's what most people want). Competition, especially for us who started later, can damage our vision of surfing and makes us forget why we started surfing in the beginning. Either way, keep going. it's always good to see people succeed in the surfing industry, especially people with lower leves of ability, but with the same love for surfing.

NOW you DEF HAVE TO TRY AGAIN, bc now you have a better understanding of the competition process, yoyr competition prep, your competition day routine, and how things work the day of in and out of the water. It’s been really interesting watching your journey. Routing for you!!!

The wardrobe is for clean clothes, the wash basket is for dirty clothes, you need a third place for clothes you've worn and will wear again before washing. To get rid of the pile/chair solution make the third place in a way that works better for you.

Hey! Just found you Sydney Aus! You’ve given me inspiration to attempt something new with a humble but disciplined attitude ! Your previous video touched on your previous surf coach from surf camp turning sour, but it comes off sounding like sexual harassment? And if it’s not, you should clarify that it was a personal issue, just because of his reputation and how it’s reading. But if it is I’ll just mind my own business, but yeah I immediately thought he did something to hurt you the way you explained it. So if you wanna keep it private? Idk I’m just trying to flag this for you about how it comes across 😅 Anyway! Again, I’m so here for your success and I’m using you as fuel to dip my toes into my new project!!!! ❤

It's insulting to girls who spend years and hours everyday to compete. You went wrong by pretending - sponsorships??? You don't understand the basics of ethics in the water nevermind at comps! This is not a dig, if you want to be serious, get better, spend more time in the water, be humble and stop pretending to be at a level that you not.

the fact that you dont know that you shouldn't drop in on another surfer after surfing for 2+ years, having gone to multiple 'surf camps', and having 'surf coaches' is soooo on brand for a 'surf influencer' its not even funny. please stop using our sport to finance your life and 'influencing'.
