Termites are the definition of late game faction. In early game you wont be able to take a single fire ant out and now in late game the fire ants are having trouble with 19 termite soldier majors holding them all back.

I really love the termite gameplay, my new favorite faction. Was doing fire ants with pervasive before, because swarming with fire ants is very satisfying, but termites are just so fun. That being said, matabele are pretty much tied with fire ants, because necromancer ants are great.

the 3 most powerful factions for me is 1.(M) Matabele ants 2.(T) Termites and 3.(F) Fire ants for context if (M) Vs (T), (M) wins due to the fact termites are their food so every battle (M) gains while (T) loses more supplies for (T) Vs (F), (T) mostly wins if late game otherwise (F) wins and for (M) Vs (F), (M) wins if mid game happens other (F) wins (F) is a big early game killer (T) is a late game breaker and (M) is a Necromantic Disaster

In options advanced tab click the bottom tick. then hold the mouse over each ant you make on the level for a break down of what that ant can do.

A little fun fact about termites the workers are both male and female and everyone can be queen and king

A termite King is Royal Highness not a bodyguard it can attack very fast and the king termite married the the queen to start a colony together and the royals has so much health

@FrazzzYT Termites food is basically the same as leafcutter food. Both are 3 stages, though the leafcutters are technically faster, not counting actual timing of said stages. Leafcutters harvest, make it fungus, then dispose of it. Termites harvest, digest, and then make it fungus. Leafcutters' biggest downside is just their disposal zones and the risk of poisoning your ants.
