16 expansion teams and you only added 1 in Canada? And you call yourself a hockey fan? I would have brought back Quebec, added a 2nd team for both Toronto (St. Pats) and Montreal (Maroons), and also added Hamilton and Saskatoon. I would have also added US teams in Milwaukee, Kansas City, Cleveland, and Portland, Oregon. All legitimate hockey markets.

48 teams sounds too wild even for Gary Bettman to consider. Last night, I was working on trying to figure out what a 48 team NHL would look like and tried to organize it any way I could.
