Well done. As a retired nurse I can tell you night duty is just as spooky even in a ward full of patients. I have had nurses change shift on a full moon, if they were ment to do a night shift. Buildings retain feelings, smells, noises etc. that we sense and pick up on. Floating human shapes are quite common sights at night in a hospital, so this shows when it's abandon they are still around. Stay safe and please, please no matter where you explore never go alone...always 'clock in' with someone and let them know where you are going and 'clock out' when you get home. This is the safety rule of many a nurse or just a women living on her own. I clock in with one if my Son's, daughter in laws or Grandchildren, who ever you choose it's for your safety yes! I also used to visit the old Towers Hospital sometimes in line with a job i used to do ... didnt see anything but is was pretty creepy would like to spend a night there which hospital was at ?

My best friend works in a care home and has said many a time when there’s a full moon the residents can get uncharacteristically out of hand . I myself have terrible anxiety on a full moon 🌕 I can not relax and sometimes that’s before I have even checked to see if there is a full moon .

I'm a nurse and I recognise so much of this equipment! The leg thing you spotted is a Thomas splint- used to immobilise broken legs and put them in traction. The chair with scales on is just like a set I was still using 15 years ago for patients who couldn't stand up to be weighed. All the bedside cabinets in that room brought back memories of being admitted to hospital in the 1980s to have my tonsils out although I'm pretty sure that design is still being used on wards now! Lots of other things I recognised. As I'm a trauma nurse I'm going to beg that you let someone know when you are going somewhere alone so they know to look for you if you don't re-appear when expected. There may be legal reasons for not wanting to do so but location sharing your phone with a friend if you are going alone could literally save your life if it means you are found easily and quickly if something was to happen.

I use to run G ward and H ward on nights on my own at Boundry Park Hospital, in Oldham in 1971. It was a Psychiatric Hospital, and I heard many strange noises at night/ small hours of morning, also saw some strange things, but it ddnt worry me, strange draughts, cold spots, leaves swirling along the path out side the window on a dead calm night. Its the living you have to be aware of, not the dead, they wont hurt you. they are just lonley spirits.

Brilliant video bud. Dont be afraid of them, I know its hard not to be but all they want is to be noticed. I used to work nights in a care home which had alot of night time activity, coat hangers being thrown, banging doors etc. After doing research it turned out that all the want is attention and are not out to harm you. Speak to them. They used to be human and are more than likely lonely in the afterlife.

I worked in a nursing home and I never believed in paranormal. Until one nite we were all in the dinning room and I left to answer a call light and I saw a black figure going into a room we all went to check and no one was there. Mind you these residents couldn't walk. Another time I was sitting at the nurses desk doing paper work when a wheel chair rolled past me turned around and went back the way it came. Believe me when I say I jumped over the desk and ran to another hall scared me to death. I could tell you a lot more made believer out of me.

The first time she was trying to get the doctor to NOT revive her but her hand went through him. She said it was like she was there but no one could hear or see her

Once fear takes hold it perpetuates flight instinct shapes shadows and light will trigger all kinds of responses. I got lost in a wood when nignt orienteering I went way past that stage after a few more scares you start to rationalise them and clam down. Then you’ve overcome your fears. I startled deer birds and alsorts. I was lost for 4 -5 hours and by the time I found a road I was perfectly calm. You should of gone back in and stared your demons in the face.

the 1st time you see one of them it's beyond frightening, because all of our lives we are told they do not exist. i have had (2) encounters in my lifetime. once in my own former apartment, which was peaceful, calming and extremely cold feeling right after my beloved little dog died. I always, always smelled a heavy floral perfume, which I do not wear. i smelled it in certain rooms of the apartment. i was unnerved at first, but then realized that she was older and sweet tempered. i NEVER SAW HER. The 2nd time, I was on vacation in Massachusetts having a wonderful & lovely time there. We went to a fabulous eatery. My husband ordered our ONLY bottle of wine. WE DO NOT DO DRUGS. I visited the ladies room. The room turned extremely cold, mist and dark. I was terrified. There was no way of leaving the ladies room without passing the cold, misty, area. I was terrified. I never wanted to see what I saw. The outside temperature of atmosphere was over 90 degrees and it's more temperate climate being on an island in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. There was no reason to ever see what I saw. I was terrified! I could not move, I could speak. I just sat there. Thinking to myself "oh GAWD! how bad is this going to get?" I t got real bad, real fast. The aura lasted a few moments, then she was gone. She slowly dissipated into the air. I nearly passed out from the fright. It was so awful to see. Finally, I was able to stand, threw cold water on my face, and left the ladies room. Later during my dinner I began to cry uncontrollably during dinner. The sadness I felt for her was intense and devastating. I tried to explain the event to my husband, he became so frightened f or me, he offered to leave the eatery and take me to the local hospital! Out of pure fear, he called the waiter over. The waiter arrived and my husband explained the situation. The young waiter calmly stated "oh, yes she is here very often. She is helpless and harmless, died in the 1800's. We respect her, we have no need for her to leave this building which once was her home. She is a very tragic figure. I will let the Manager that you saw her. Very few of our guests ever admit to seeing her, they just leave quickly afterwards. So very tragic". That was it. We finished our lovely, lovely dinner and walked back to our hotel, in total silence. A few days later the eatery sent us a Gift Card. We ate there again, but only during the day time. I could not take seeing her again. The sadness I felt for her remains inside me, to this day. Most of them are tragic figures, lost between (2) worlds and no way out. So awful. Many are not really scary, but the first time seeing one is deeply disturbing! They are other worldly and helpless.

At first glance I thought that someone else was there messing with Colins head and after browsing through some other comments I was convinced. At 19:23 you could see a new camp bed and a new checkered bag next to it which means someone was already there and when he/she saw Colin coming they decided to have some fun with him and scare him to death. at 19:38 to the right of the cot you'll notice the bag from whence it came. It's covered with white ceiling debris just like the grey cushion he steps on and the blue seats on there sides which also has a water bottle wedged between two which looks dusty as does the cot slightly. (at first i noticed the cot). There's what looks like a candle placed on the end with debris under it like it's been there for a minute as well. the checkered bag looks empty and slumped over like it's been there for a bit as well. Imho...I'm willing to bet someone was planning to spend the night at some previous time and was severely spooked just like Colin and left in as much a hurry and left their cot behind and bag behind.

Great video. It doesn't surprise me at all if you saw something or someone. When my father in law was in hospital a nurse was attending him and suddenly carers went around all the rooms in the wards to pull the curtains. I was stuck between two sets of curtains with nowhere to go. Two men wheeled a box gurney along the corridor past the room my father I law was in. A few minutes late they wheeled the gurney back out, walking alongside this gurney with her hand on the wooden top was a woman wearing a nightdress, no slippers, hair immaculate, I nodded my head and the woman smiled and then they were all gone, the carers pulled back all the curtains. I went to speak with father in laws doctor and saw she'd been upset, I told her I was sorry her lady patient had passed but she was walking next to the gurney and smiling. The doctor was amazed that I'd just described her dead patient. Hospitals, even after closure, do hold the spirits of those who passed. When exploring and you see something try to stay calm, your hyped energy only increases theirs. Always tell someone where you're going and for roughly how long. Keep safe

That looked like a manifestation of a ghost just trying to scare you! And yes it would scare me too! Around 18.40, you can see a green camp bed. It isn't dirty and looks modern and out of place, considering the rest of the building and contents. I bet someone is dossing in there, and wanted to freak you out, to make you leave. You were wise to make a run for it because you never know what might happen, being on your own. exciting I see and talk to ghosts so often and have done for 62 years. The dark one was a little boy of about 8 and the white one was a nun with a cloak and veil. And good advice, don't be intimidated, you should say hello to them because they want to get in touch. Nothing to be afraid of they are still the same as when they left us. They are just in a different energy but still where we all move. If you could see with the naked eye you would be in constant fear. No lucky you saw them but you were in this second on their vibration. I can tune into their vibes as I please and shut down again. But always say a prayer before entering any place for protection because there are people who want to attach themselves to you who are not good. Also when you leave the place. we enjoyed this Thank you. im a 4/5 generation spirit medium and i still have trouble believing what i see, sense and feel at times. if you ever feel frightened focus your mind by saying the lords prayer , either in your head or out loud , that acts as a barrier and the spirit/ ghost/ demon cant hurt you . my family would say God protects you because your praying but i think because you focus your brain on something else , you close your barriers. once you learn how to keep your guard up , you can switch it on and off . stay safe , happy and blessed always

Before we had electric scales there was wheel chairs designed to be weighing scales for patients that couldn't stand up right on the normal floor scales that hospitals used as these were easier for bed ridden patients that could sit up in the hospital bed

That place has been as creepy as hell for years! It's got a lot more overgrown in the last few years though. Used to be able to walk around the building without the need for loppers! Used to park up there when mealing on nights as there's a Maccies not far away. Always a weird feeling around that place. It must have seen some sights as a Musculoskeletal Hospital. Staff accommodation is less than a hundred yards away towards the "live" site! Not a nice walk home in the dark! Good explore but seriously - don't go back!

I was an orderly in our local hospital here in Vermont. I was returning a patient to his room after some medical test he had done. We got to the elevator and I saw a doctor pushing someone in a wherl chair enter the elevator just as we rounded the corner. It was in one of the older buildings so there were only two elevator. Okay set the scene up. Long story short. Rounded the corner saw a doc pushing a wheel chair enter the elevator. I waited a few seconds for elevator to leave before I called second elevator. Pushed the call button and that same elevator opened up; empty. We entered elevator and headed up. On the way I said I could swear I saw someone enter the elevator. He said he thought so to. Had to have seen a ghost or some time wars or something. I mean! A doctor doing manual work probably hasn't happened since 1945. In that hospital doctors only walk around holding papers, with a gaggle of cackling nurses flirting.

Hi Colin, great video, I must admit that place was extremely creepy & scary at the end with the different sounds & the figure of the person, I do believe in ghosts & maybe something happend there previously to one of the adults or children. That chair with the scale on the back, that brings back memories! I used to have to sit in them every time I visited the hospital in the 80s. They used them to check your weight. Not sure why they did it tbh as it was always asthma related check ups.

I sat in one yesterday after I was rushed in with crushing chest pains and trouble breathing, I was told if I didn't come in when I did , I wouldn't be here today, some blood test I had they said it was that high it was on a verge of having a massive heart attack, I'm in bed watching this!!

You can’t see a actually spirit as in a transparent figure like most expect. The ‘figure’ is all black and if you stare at the end of the hall you can see something human shaped slid off to the right out of frame. Literally looks like a shadow. It’s hard to see but something moves out of camera view slowly but literally blink and you miss it

Great vid. You meed to be carefull mate on ur own. Theres alot of suffering been going in that building for years, that attracts alot of bad energys, you already captured what sounded like a metal pole being thrown. Good spirits wouldn't do that. It is all very well visiting a haunted house. I have lived in several. To be honest one of the resident ghosts in one of them was great & actually prevented a fire one night by warning me. Another was very friendly & had a great sense of humour but one of them was not so pleasant. There I suffered an attack that lasted about 5hrs. Made me ill. I had no-where else to go & no money so had to go back there. Had to sleep there. Had to cope. Tough. Very tough. Still not as bad as living with my violent, abusive, narcissistic mother though.

@@JBS2018 A ghost was on my throat, around my neck, trying to strangle me for over 5 hours. The ghost had been taking refuge in a built in cupboard in a house that was built around 1900, but just outside the gates of a medieval town. An area that would have been occupied probably back as far as the bronze age or earlier. The only way I could keep the ghost off my throat was to visualize a circle of protecting angels around me. However the attack started around one in the morning & continued till it began to get light & I was not well so I became extremely exhausted & sometimes I lost concentration & then the ghost flew back to my throat. When the ghost was not on my throat it was at the foot of my bed blowing cold air under the covers so I was also frozen, probably hypothermic by dawn. I could not run from the room, call to the woman I shared the house with or reach over & stretch to switch the light on due to the intensity of the attack. I was ill for quite some time afterwards. Fortunately some local psychics came to help me the next day. The spirit apologised for attacking me, explained that it was very frightened because I intended to clean out the cupboard where it had taken refuge, as it was afraid of moving on because it had done 'bad things' while alive. After reassurance it was able to move towards the light accompanied by the two psychics spirit guides. They were very kind compassionate people. This was a very old ghost that had more or less lost human form. It was a misty grey/white form similar to the traditional 'white sheet over the head' shaped ghosts seen in cartoons.

I've had my own encounters so I don't doubt what you seen even if somewhat difficult to make out in the video, but still visible. Sometimes they make themselves manifest so you will believe, other times it's to cause fear or torment people. I seen a similar dark transparent figure riding on my father's back, late at night, when he ran to me for help because he couldn't breathe. Strangely (without knowing what I seen or what was going on) I jumped out of bed and put my right hand on his stomach and my left arm around his neck and walked him down the hall to the kitchen. I don't understand why I did that, but he was then able to breath. That's when he told me his breath was sucked out of him and he couldn't breath, but ran to me for help. Immediately I felt a little sick and rinsed water over my head thinking I was going to vomit. There are some videos that have very similar encounters like that in your video. If you haven't seen the channel creepy seven paranormal you may just be convinced, as they have the most legit videos I've seen anywhere. They are compiled from around the world, not your typical paranormal channel. All the best.
