Disagreed. Games with jumpscares are the scariest because you are terrified in anticipation of something jumping out at you. Games without jumpscares just are just boring and not scary.

@@IJFJJAJI 1. Cheap jumpscares give you a shock, they are not scary.... it's like if a kid said "boo" around a corner and you get shocked because you did not expect it. It comes and goes in an instant. The kid is not "scary" just because it shocked you for less than a second. 2. Games with a truly creepy atmosphere have a buildup to high-quality jumpscares, not some cheap garbage. So if you want a game that relies on jumpscares for scares (which is already a minus), you have to have a buildup and a quality jumpscare. 3. A game can be EXTREMELY eerie without a jumpscare. You have clearly NOT played enough horror games to know that, and it is so obvious. 4. True horror is not a loud noise and flashing lights, it is something MUCH worse. Play the game "The Backrooms: Lost Tape" and play both tapes, and you will see one of the better horror games; this one is at least a 7/10. And do NOT watch someone else play it, put on the headphones, turn off the lights, be alone, immerse yourself, and play the game.

I think for this one it's good because the timing is really good. It's obviously a half-baked game that laughs at itself with no story just good gameplay. For a story-immersive game, jump scares would be cliche.
