However, I would caution you and would like to make known to many other Christians of this fact. 43 “When the unclean spirit has gone out of a person, it passes through waterless places seeking rest, but finds none. 44 Then it says, ‘I will return to my house from which I came.’ And when it comes, it finds the house empty, swept, and put in order. 45 Then it goes and brings with it seven other spirits more evil than itself, and they enter and dwell there, and the last state of that person is worse than the first. So also will it be with this evil generation.” What Dan was saying that the worst thing can happen is you feel better, indicates a huge red flag. If a unbeliever has not truly accepted Jesus into their heart (real bonafide saving faith by belief in the resurrection and atonement by faith) then a person can be temporarily delivered and end up in a worse state with other worse demons coming back a short time later (if it was a real deliverance, not a fake one which demonds can do). I got nothing against brother Dan and love him to bits for his fellowship in Christ and the work he does, but if we as Christians are worth out salt, we allow the Bible to be our guide. Psalm 115:105 states "Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path". We must interpret our experience with scripture in order to gain revelation and insight to see the shadows through the veil that exists in this world. Real exorcisms on unbelievers do more harm than good, Matthew 12:43-45 says so and many other missionaries and pastors can testify to this. Do not get me wrong, deliverance is also for the believer, but it is a very different (and much more gentle) experience. Fake deliverances happen all the time, and we need the discernment of the holy spirit and the word. Just wanted to caution everyone out there James, please do not take this as a legalistic criticism, I love all my brothers in the faith. God bless, stay safe and remember Ephesians 6.

My deliverance was biblical but long, slow, hard and painful. Like you (I watched your testimony from 3 days ago sister, thank you for that!) I had dabbled in occult/new age/witchcraft and my brains were fried with no one to help. amen, this is why I am so careful now of who I prayer for deliverance. I find that even if I sin once demonic entities really like to push the paranormal, fears and temptation my way, and its a process to follow the scriptures without falling into sin again because of these demons, but resist the devil and he shall flee. Our church doesn’t do casting our demons, in all truth we have not been called first and forth most to do such wonders, we have been called to the great commission which is to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ that does heal, that will deliver, that will heal the broken hearted that leads to salvation in Christ Jesus. And pray is powerful and we do pray to those who are in need. But having a quick fix and healing is not the answer, the answer is dedicating your life to Christ, to die to yourself and God will do the rest. These things are done so that we wont have any reason to boast but to give God all the glory alone.

There are some churches or Christian ministries that have deliverance as well on the side for brothers and sisters from a different church to attend. For example in Liverpool Sydney (and many other locations) every Friday they have deliverance ministries running all day. If you feel like you really need to be delivered of something you should attend something like that.

Shalom. Jesus cast out demons and healed those who were sick. Jesus said that we would do greater works than He did! That is truly amazing, that God has given us this gift of salvation, gift of repentance, the kingdom of God that is within us, the Holy Ghost, and the power from Jesus Christ to take authority over Satan and His demons. We are called to spread the Good News, the Gospel of Jesus Christ, pray continuously, show the love of Jesus through how we live our lives and our actions and walk in this authority given to us. The bible says we are seated in heavenly places IN Christ Jesus, above all principalities and powers. If we are seated with Christ, because we are joined to Him, then that means we have the same authority. That is why when we use the name of Jesus with revelation, and we KNOW that this is true, we see people receiving deliverance, healing and breakthrough. You can't deliver someone who is not born again, that would be dangerous, but if you are discipling someone and they are given the right information, this is powerful. God's will for us is to be free.. The Word of God says that whosoever the Son sets free is free indeed. If we walk around as a Christian not believing we can be healed, or that these demons must leave us - then we are not truly walking in the revelation of what Jesus came to earth and did for us on the cross. I was in the New Age for 6 years. I also believed it was beautiful, that I was on the 'right path for me' and that one day I would magically be healed. It was only when I encountered the One and Only True Living God that my life has been transformed. I no longer suffer from depression, anxiety, PTSD, alcohol dependency to name a few. The bible says that Satan is the father of lies, he can't tell the truth, the bible also says that Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light. I used to think when I was having spiritual experiences in the New Age that I was seeing true light, but when you experience the true light of this world, that is Jesus Christ, everything I thought that was light was actually darkness.
