I FAILED AGAIN!! DIY Miniature Dollhouse Craft Kit (Cutebee Dollhouse)

Well I failed AGAIN! This is the second time trying a DIY miniature dollhouse craft kit, this time Cutebee DIY dollhouse kit, and I could barely even make a single thing, and the tiny dollhouse thing that I did end up making was kinda pointless! Unfortunately I'm definitely not cut out for DIY miniature dollhouse craft kits, and it's a shame as I can imagine completely a very intricate miniature dollhouse like this one from Cutebee would be extremely satisfying when you did end up finishing it. I think people who do make DIY miniature dollhouses must have plenty of free time and bucket loads of patience, two things I completely lack! But if you are one of those people I think you'd really enjoy this specific DIY miniature dollhouse craft kit from Cutebee, if you're like we I would stay well away from it!!

Nothing ventured, nothing gained. Thank you for trying. 👍 A motto I go by: Feel the fear, and do it anyway. I tried making a chain mail bracelet with small rings. Even with my small hands, it was very difficult. I ended up using bigger rings, and made the simplest bracelet I could.

Hi Anthony. Sometimes you really do set yourself a mammoth task doing the smallest crafts 😆. My nerves were shattered just watching you struggle. Ten out of ten as ever for even attempting anything out of that kit .

Oh Ant, you didn't let us all down you silly thing! You simply didn't realise what you were letting yourself in for. Give the set to someone as a gift, or put it in a charity bag and let the charity deal with it. I feel that you are really not cut out for tiny items. To be fair, that has to be the SMALLEST potted plant I have ever seen in my life! It was the size of a grain of rice! Don't be too hard on yourself hun. It simply wasn't your kind of thing. Having watched you for quite some time now I was pretty confident in saying to my hubby “oh my god! He’s trying it again. He’ll last maybe ten minutes and give up”, hubby thought you’d do it. In a fit of enthusiasm, I bought a similar kit some years back. I started it and then put it aside. During lockdown I got it out again to have another go. As soon as I opened up the package I remembered why I'd given up. What a faff! I love miniatures and dollshouses so you'd think it would have been great but frankly life's too short. It's still sitting there taunting me.

My mum has been having some health problems this past year and last Tuesday we found out that she has a rare brain desease (PSP) which I'd never even heard of and the prognosis isn't good, so I was really upset, then I got a notification for a video (your video) and it was the only thing that took my mind off the bad news we'd recieved that day. What I'm trying to say is never feel that any of your videos aren't worth posting or was a failure because either way I look forward to seeing them and they cheer me up. Even when I'm upset you still make me chuckle and that's not an easy thing to do. So thank you Anthony 😊 PS. I think most people who make these things must use an extra strong magnifying glass, because the parts are really tiny 😂 It'd take me at least a year to complete one of those things, if I was lucky. I don't think I'd have got as far as even opening any of the bags 😆

Anthony, don't be hard on yourself when you open these all the parts look overwhelming. I have made this one and the tree one and I find it's good to open it up and look at the pieces then take a day and set aside hours to do it. I find them relaxing once you get into them and am currently doing a miniature kitchen with my mother in law.

After watching your techy one tonight that bashed my brains then seeing this cheeky video that for some reason I didn't get a notification for, I was excited thinking aye something I can do. I even convinced myself that there was an Xmas themed one and I was going to get it because of the lights etc. Well the update is that there is no way on this earth I would have the patience to do one. Well the crafting didn't go well but at least your video cracked me up! That dollhouse is much tinier than 1:24...Maybe one millimeter to 24 millimeters! I enjoy the slightly larger kits, but even those are pretty fidgety and tiny. And they do take me ten million years. 😂

OMG OMG HI!! Okay first, I feel like I inflicted real psychological trauma now and I kinda feel bad! Thank you so much though for giving it another go, and thank you for uploading this!! Okay so; the one that I made is significantly smaller than the one you were able to pick up, but it's still a lot of finicky things and even I didn't get everything right. They really don't tell you where to start first so the feeling of being overwhelmed with tiny things is really relatable. I'll take a picture and I'll send it to you on twitter with a ruler to show you just how tiny tiny it really is! (What is this, a tiny room for ants??) The best kind of glue for these things is tacky glue and I nearly SCREAMED when you picked up the hot glue I'm like "NOOO the burns!" I uploaded a review and a picture to the amazon page I linked you to at first, but I'll take a better pic for you soon ok? Anthony, you are a treasure and a gift to us all

@@AnthonyCrammen I have always been fascinated by minis and dollhouses, and I also make jewelry, sew, knit, and do ALL kinds of crafts! I am always yelling at you when you are struggling, cause I want to help you !!! I was super jealous when you opened that first mini, because it was not available in US, and I wanted to make it so bad! My only problem is I drown in finished items; I have no interest in most things once I make them - I mostly enjoy the process - and especially kits the feeling of having put something together. Like "order from chaos" , like a puzzle, I really love organizing and sorting - love finding tins of old buttons or bags of vintage jewelry and just sorting thru them!!
