I failed my license twice and this was sooo inspirational. I must go again because my learners expire next year and nobody at home is helping me to drive and I am unemployed and I try to save every penny that I get from my mother or grandma to try to go for a lesson or go take the test. This was soooo motivating ❤️.

I usually don't like commenting but I'm so glad I came across your video before my test, you're straightforward and honest, about the good and the bad, something I failed to find in the other videos I watched. I was super anxious about my test, however your motivation gave me courage to tackle that test. I did 10 lessons just like you, but I still felt that it was a complete waste of money for me. I still couldn't drive the way I wanted or hoping to drive. When my cousin taught me for 2 days only, 3 hours (Day 1) and 2 hours (Day 2), I can drive now. It took me 5 hours to drive a car, which I am so grateful for. This video of yours is really a motivation. I am looking forward to doing my Drivers Test and getting it over with. Must just learn to lay down my own driving habits and focus on driving the K53 way😂 congratulations to you that you passed 🎉

I am 28 and failed my test three times. Had endless of lessons here in Canada 🇨🇦. Keep going you will pass because you already started your journey. I also have friends who got their license easily and some who got their license not easily. I am the only women in my family who is getting their licenses, and my younger brothers already have their license. It’s very stressful and you feel pressured for sure. Keep going girl.

Thank you for this video I failed my drivers license twice, and when I did, my learners license expired so now I have to go through the process all over again and I've been out of the game for a few years and nervous to get back on track again 😅

Hi Leah, your video is so helpful. I have failed my driving test 3 times. The last fail being for observations (which i did) during yard test, but that's just life sometimes. I also feel exactly the same way and have so much anxiety when driving and am also so upset about it as well. I wont give up though and will test again soon.

You're so right about the corruption. They make money from your failure. I booked a package of 10 lessons (R3000) with my first driving instructor, and it's like he purposefully didn't teach me everything in those 10 lessons so that I have to pay for extra lessons. Which is ridiculous because if they say its a package, then surely they should have a set syllabus to cover each day so they don't miss out on anything but my instructor would drag my lessons and was repetitive without teaching me new things. It was a horrible experience, and when I asked to proceed to ground work, he'd intentionally knock my confidence by spitefully telling me to do a manoeuvre without any instruction on how to, and when i stalled he'd say "see you dont know what you're doing you're not ready"😑 wheres the logic? I need to know how to do a manoeuvre on my own in order to be ready to be taught how to do the manoeuvre...smh I had no choice but to pay for 5 extra lessons with him (R200 each), and even then, he left out parallel parking so I found another driving school that charged R100 per lesson and took a R2000 package with them....my new instructor was so much better but he didn't teach me the tiny but important details because I later realized he was only preparing me for a Bribed pass. On the day before my Test when he asked me about the "security deposit" AKA the bribe and I opted out of paying it his confidence in me passing went out the door. So i failed my first test, and now im doing more lessons in preparation for my 2nd Test. even though my ground work was perfect, i failed because my sequence of observation was wrong, and i did my first observation before Balanceing the clutch instead if before changing gears and that's 5 points for each time i needed fo change gears. I also got points for counter steering, which my driving instructor literally taught me to do sooo shame....ngl my test instructor was very gentle and she even took me back to her office and explained what i got points from and we talked about what i can improve on after i failed. she seemed nice....i hope i get her for my next test.

This is still a cheap amount of Money, I have tested 4 Times thus far at 3 different Testing centres and I still don't have a License. I have spent over R15000 on lessons and test days 😞 I am hoping my next time is the last time

I know this video is old, but, I failed mine in the yard at a stop sign (in the yard) just as we were going to go out on the road test, reasons: - Didn't put the handbrake up at the stop - Didn't do "proper observations" The Examiner said I treated the stop sign as a yield sign, but I did do my checks and stopped (but forgot to use the handbrake) Some Examiner's will literally just fail you, no matter what. I was very sure that I did infact stop, and stop for a reasonable amount of time, but hey, the Examiner is "in charge".

Hi yeah I know I feel the same way as you I also want to learn to drive but no one want to help me out I want to go for my learner's but I don't get the time to practice it really sucks if on one wants to help you like I can tell you a lot of things that in my life but it will just brake your heart I am 37 year old and still staying at my family home thy don't think I can look after myself but I think I can thy say I have a disability but I think I don't have a disability I can walk I can talk I have use of my hands and feet so yeah thy say my mind is like a child mind and I can go on it is very sad but I want to proof to them I can it's just very sad it brakes my heart to tell you what I go Thero yeah I will love to ooh yes thy say I can't work because of my mentality but I think I can do all things if you just tech me that is what I to learn things but no one want to tech me

The car does not run on water. It runs on fuel which costs money. R200 is a good price.. And as far as I can see you were just not competent enough. In the UK for example you can't even book your test if you have had 40+ hours. So consider yourself lucky
