I dont think that comment was hate, it was just some doubts which were legitimate at that time in regards to the cut of the video. Thats why i like pokerevs response. It is also very cool that he takes his time to make such a video just to defend himself, it proofs that he really cares about his viewers! But I do have a question for everybody in the comment section: at 5:28 - in the "unedited" raw material there is a clear jump when opening the mystery box and pciking up the booster pack (package of mystery box disappers), one can easily see it when jumping frame by frame. Was this a decompression error from youtube or how did that happen? - No hate pls genuinely interessted bc it felt so awkward to me to see the "unedited" version with this artifact^^

Tbh there's tons of micro reasons for the jump. Family coming to the door so he quickly pauses the recording, then unpauses after picking up the pack, phone call so the same thing. The thing I noticed is his arm moves in both cases to signify a pause and unpause.

Great stuff Rev…the sword and shield pack errors have been crazy lately. I’ve had packs full of reverse holo rares and sealed packs from booster boxes that had less than 8 cards. Anything is possible right now with early print runs for sure.

Rev, I believe you. I actually watched my daughter open a pack just today with a Black Gold card and a full art V back to back. It's basically that the 2 cards you pulled, one was in the reverse slot and the other in the rare slot it's that simple. Keep up the great videos.

I think your daughter opened one of the new Brilliant Stars packs in which you’re meant to be able to get hits in both slots. In Rev’s case, the second hit was in the energy card slot.

It was actually a Shining Fates pack. She got the gold Eternatus V is the reverse slot and a full art V in the rare slot. And the more I thought about it I know you can get double ups in the "Holiday" sets. But I've never seen a gold card and a full art back to back until Sunday.

During the “raw” footage there’s still a cut. Not at the Croagunk but the opened blister disappears at 5:28. I still think it’s a legit double pull but yeah, that’s still edited footage

To silence all the doubters, wouldn't you show the whole opening without the disappearing packaging? Your unedited example is still edited. In the first double full art example, you double backed to show the packaging not dissappearing at the end, but did not play the whole clip in question unedited from start to finish. What happened at 5:28 of this video? Why would you not just let the whole thing play if you wanted to prove there was no tampering? I love your videos Rev and do believe you. I'm just playing devils advocate here 😈

There was a jump cut on the Croagunk card because the next clip had a zoom-in effect. Anyone who edits videos knows that sometimes it's easiest to split the footage into separate clips and zoom in. Also, man, don't even pay the trolls any mind. You're awesome, keep doing what you do!

I found this video really interesting. I have actually never thought of you as someone who would alter pack openings. I have seen you strike out enough to believe that when the pull comes, it comes. Your reactions seem genuine as well. But, there is always someone. It was cool seeing some raw footage as well. I have not opened 10% of the packs you have, and i have already seen my share of oddities in packs. Double code cards, 13 card packs, 2 reverse cards, upside down cards, cards facing the wrong way. Blame Jimmy, not PokeRev!
