This is good advice. I just want to add that you’re not a burden to others by putting yourself first, or loving yourself. This is completely normal, and a healthy thing to do!

I used to feel this way a lot during my first year of highschool, while I've learned to feel valid, it's so great hearing a new perspective on what a burden truly is it's just so unfortunate how many of the people who feel like they are burdens, truly aren't. Thanks man love ya 🖤

Man I'd love to be in a band with this guy. Like he's always seemed like such a good bro, just seems like a dude I'd wanna be friends with. I remember in like early maybe 2009? I got a message on KZbin from this band called "GET Scared" and you guys had Voodoo out and I was insanely in love. I've always held that close, to know this band reached out to me and made me a fan from their message. It's kinda cool. Now I'm rambling.

This actually really helps. I have a friend who constantly feels like they're a burden & no matter how much I tell them they're not, they seem to continue thinking they are. Then I feel the same way towards them & others although I always try to help her & those around me if I can (at least I hope I do). But I feel this could help both of us gain some perspective. Thank you. & I hope you're doing well.

I can always provide physical and emotional help for friends, if they ask for money or anything I'll try my best to offer. If they're down I'll try my best to make them feel better. I've got some problems myself, I'm afraid if i ask for help, I'll become someone's burden. No matter how hard i try, I'll never be someone's best friend...maybe I'm just self-destructive and ask for too much...
