For me Darts is a game in which came from the working class mens pubs up and down the length of Britain and a few Legends from Bristow , Wilson , Lowe and Rees etc became household names Later in time Taylor took control of majority of big wins , and Anderson odd time done well with along some others became Then the Dutch took up the game and some top players also became legends of the game Barney in them yrs just after Bristow, Lowe and Wilsons days and later in years Gerwen and now today so many tournaments the new Generation of darters who travel to all parts of the World and play within , and becoming millionaires of the game . And for me darts always shall remain a game which came from the working mens pubs and clubs within Britain and as Barney said no banter between players nowadays which is weird wearing headphones just who do they think they are some Sporting legends as its a game fir crying out loud . Crikey i was lucky to have played darts throughout the mid to late 70s and through the 80s when i feel it was so much better to walk into a bar and knowing you would have others playing on boards ..todays walk into many bars and an empty board it is , and no one playing unless a match day . Very sad today for the ordinary Joe who loves his Darts ..Thankfully i played in the good ole days and have played the very best , as well as practiced alone with the best and sat chatted with th bst and much fun and banter was had between myself and Jocky --> Great times and more to come 👍

I like Steve Beaton classy guy and great servant of the sport but put some respect on Barneys name his not just a legend but his also a GOAT 🐐 one of the greatest to ever pick up a dart.
