I fell in a crevasse climbing Alphubel unguided

Europe's heatwave wreaked havoc in the mountains this year, and our trip to the Swiss Alps to climb Aphubel was directly affected.
Our initial plan was to climb Dom, the highest mountain completely in Switzerland. After seeing what Dom's glacier looked like while on the summit of Nadelhorn, we decided against it.
Instead, we went climbing Alphubel, a 4,206m mountain in the Mischabel group.
Our journey to the summit of Alphubel was made difficult by the melting glacier and its nearly impenetrable ice.
This seemingly straightforward Alpine peak was more challenging than expected.

Great summit also on my list, should be careful crossing the glacier, I guess the from Saas grund side is different because I see you started from Täsch. Great mountaineering stuff just what I like, no guides all by yourself or with partner in a range of achievable peaks up from 4000 meters, but still a challenge👍👌🏔️🌄

Love your videos :) I did total 10, 4000 er mountains in Alps and at Rimpfischorn, I felt like I might fell into a crevass any moment ..it was so bad, we couldn't summit even after an early start at 3:30 am , none of the teams could that day!! 😞 It's heartbreaking to see mountains in such bad state . Few of my friends went to Alphubel a day before and they couldn't summit as well. This video is so amazing..loved it 🤩

The conditions were like never before. We were debating what a better strategy would look like for the Alps next year since July and August look like they're badly hit by the heat atm. It's sad seeing the situation deteriorate right in front of us. Hopefully you get to do the Rimpfischorn one day, after seeing it with my own eyes it's now on the list😂 Beautiful mountain!
