@@iotu6745 No, I don't have children and no plans in having one. She have two and grown up, everyone is supportive of each other. She have grandchildren that we look after them occasionally on the weekend. I knew she was older than me when I met her first but never thought 20 years older as she is a vegetarian at the age of 10 makes her look much younger. Nowadays you can have kids at any age as long as you train your body and prepare for it. I am happy with her and want to spend the rest of my life with her, not having kids is not an issue.

I had to do this to my ex boyfriend. I had 4 children he had none. I get pregnant for him, and he begged me to keep it. I could not as I was a divorcee, he's never been married before and no children. I gently ask him to find a girl and serve down. He did, and after she had the baby, he came to me and said he's now a father, can we marry. I told him to go back and marry the mother of the baby and he did. To this day we are still friends, but he has very high respect for me.

This really hit home for me in such a strikingly familiar way. We've been in the phase of trying to let go. I sent this to him last night. Today, he came over. We stood in the kitchen just holding each other with hardly any words for an hour and then it was time for him to go. We didn't even say goodbye. We can't even muster the words. I cried so much after this. I went through exactly the same thing because I wanted to have Children. I understand her reasons to leave but how about the person who stayed? How about that guy? I loved that Woman with all my heart. She cut me out of her life, like I didn't exist anymore, left me completely out, no more contact anywhere. I wrote her in vain every single day, it's been over 4 years now. You know what's the saddest part? Is that she doesn't know I'm still waiting.

Sometimes it's better that way. You're future life goals will never be compatible. Being in contact will only hurt more, but I understand that it hurts like hell now as is. But don't chase it. There will only be stress and more pain and sadness trying to pull her back in when she's trying to pull herself out. Waiting for her to change her mind is foolish because she won't. You need to let go of that hopeful, selfish thinking. Heal your heart and move on. Let her be the one that got away and have the family you want with a woman who wants to live that life too. Maybe no one will ever compare to her, but it was never going to work out in the end. Let her be a memory so you can have new memories to make.

The most incredible and the most ironic part of this story is that what she did was out of the utmost love of her heart and it was absolutely in his best interest. If you claim to love someone you have to ne willing to give them whats best for them even if its to detriment of yourself or your feelings. Truly a beautiful story yet tragic at the same time. Perhaps an even more incredible aspect of it is the ending- how everything fell into place on both sides and how both sides ended up happy!

My boyfriend of almost a year and a half broke up with me today and is moving across country he is 29, and I am 47. He is my everything. I've never loved like I love him.💔 He told me that regardless of our conversations about having kids, he can't stop thinking about having children of his own. He said it's nothing I have done that he loves me very much in every way and that I have a huge heart. I do love so hard! We had talked about adoption in the beginning, and it was an option, but has time goes by, he can't stop thinking about carrying on his name. There is no lack of love thats for sure, but sometimes love is just not enough.🥺 I have to let him go. I feel as if I'm dying inside. This pain is almost impossible to bear. I am madly in love with him. I guess the only gift I can give him is the freedom to follow his dreams that I can not make come true for him. I am broken and don't know how I can go on. 💔 He gave me no choice he put his 2 weeks in before he told me. He leaves in 13 days, and I'm dying inside. I can't understand why he would want to bring children into this world the way it's going, but that seems selfish to me.I have 3 adult daughters so I have no right to judge him for wanting his own kids. For me, I am sealing up my heart from here on out because I can't put myself out there again because I cannot endure this pain that I am going thru right now ever again. How is this going to be possible? How will I go on?! I'm going to go crawl into a hole now. This is one beautiful brave lady! ❤️

I’m in this situation & my man says that it would be absolutely cruel & unfair to take this decision away from him. He’s a grown man, he can make his own decisions. It’s not my choice to make, it’s his. He says it’s demoralising to even think I would take that choice from him. I wanted to make that choice also when I see his glowy eyes when he sees babies. I tell him straight away how I feel, he says we’ll adopt if we must but at the end of the day the choices he makes in life are his, not mine. Just as it’s my choice to choose him or not. He’s not going to try to influence me to love him or leave him. That’s my choice. He says it would actually be so disrespectful to see him as unable to make life choices for himself. If you have an age gap relationship you have to have respect for the younger persons choices & not think you know better than them or what’s best for them. Just because someone’s older doesn’t always make them wiser & at the end of the day, it’s actually controlling to think you know what’s best for someone else or what would make them happy & then to go as far as making that decision for them. You don’t know what’s best for others. Let people make their own decisions. I think she left because she just didn’t want to raise a child. They could’ve made something work as far him experiencing parenthood.

That's not much of an age gap; you'll be alright. It's only 5 years. An age gap would be anywhere from 8 years and older. Cause now ur hitting new generation.

Why did she feel the need to pick out a woman for him.. is that really fate/love.. It was sad to listen to her sadness but setting him free isn't choosing his path for him.
@lifetobelived91026 жыл бұрын
I wasn't sure on that either. I'm guessing she saw that as the only way to help him move on. I'm a pretty kind person but I don't know if I could do that. On the other hand sometimes the people who know a person are the best at picking a good life match.

I dont judge, she knows better what she felt... Its just...she didnt set him free/let him go...she forced him into that... Yeah, selfless love, yah...big heart....but, was it worthy??? I dont know really... * . *

I don't think she was trying to pick out a woman for him I think she was trying to help him along the way. But she let him go because he wanted to have children and that is the biggest gift of love.

They were always running back to each other. Maybe the only way for him to free himself was to fall in love with another woman. For what it's worth, the young lady could have just been a stepping stone on that path, but they hit it off well and had a kid. And maybe she wanted to make sure he had somewhere to go, instead of just ghosting him without a fallback.

This made me sob my heart out. My fiance is 20 years younger than me. He is Moroccan. We planned to marry In November or December. I had contemplated on allowing him a second wife if he wanted kids, its allowed in Morocco. He said he did. Yesterday I decided no I could not do this. I could not share him I love his so much. I could not lie in my bed knowing he was lying in the arms of a younger beautiful woman. I could not take away the chance for him to have kids. I have been silent all day and he hadnt noticed. I shared my fears with a group of friends and one of them just posted this video.

DayOneNoob ... awe, if you really like each other , you will make it work . It’s hard to tell though because you’re so young and still have a lot to live . In this cases the age difference might matter , as the years and and experiences lived only come with age. Enjoy it for as long as it last . There’s no book to follow in this cases .just enjoy 😉

@@melliza122 in my case, he is 20 and im 29...we dont talk much about our age gap...but, when we do, he tries to talk me out of the feeling of im taking away his freedom and makes me understand that if we want to be together, we can make it work!!! * . *

I think the most important thing that I took away from this is that even people who have 4 legs can find love. What a great story that she was able to set him up with a 4-legged beast and draw out her inner beauty.
