I love watching you. Love your decor. I have been going to goodwill here in Ky for a few weeks now and got some really nice deals. I have a small creamer and plate it sets in that they use to have on the passenger train restaurants. My Daddy retired from L&N railroad many years ago. So many wonderful pieces. Where did you say in Texas? I have sweet friends in Waller, TX. I love the brass lamp. It’s beautiful with or without the shade. With me volunteering at our local Free Store, there’s so many treasures that come through all the time. I’ve found some really cute things. When I take something I really like, I bring stuff back to donate so I’m not overloading or hoarding. Plus I don’t want to be greedy. It’s been in the 80’s here in Michigan and I get very warm. I can only imagine how warm it is in Texas. Have a great weekend. God bless.

That game you picked up, "Sequence", is a fun and easy game to play for kids and adults. If you don't know about it, the board is comprised of playing cards and you get cards dealt to you and you have to cover the card on the board with a marker (poker chip) and try to make a line of 5. Kinda like Connect 5, Bingo and tic tac toe all rolled into one.

I love Cracker Barrel. There’s one about 4 miles from my house. I have two favorite servers there. I use to stop there after my hostess job at Ruth’s Chris on either a Friday or Saturday night. Perfect place to unwind and of course all the antique pieces to look at. And I’ve been quilty on several occasions to hit the sale racks. I also enjoy your accompanying music. Ahhh pioneer woman salt and pepper shakers. I would have bought that vase near the end. That’s my esthetic. And I would have picked up the Santa plates but I’m short on room. I need a bigger house. Wahhhh

Love the pink chintz bowls and the decanter. I'm not completely sure what you purchased but the Santa plates were so pretty and I would taken the bench and harp table. You picked up what appeared to be a brass lamp without a shade and the wooden bottom of a cloche. I would have taken the wiring out of that particular lamp, used E6000 to marry the two to have a plant stand. The oval metal tray made me think of turkey feathers (not sure why) but very pretty. I would have thought about the gizzard basket, brocade box and the organizer tray too.

It is crazy how different Goodwill is from state to state. Here in Delaware, all wood deco items are $2.99, all baskets $3.99, all metal items $3.99, all chairs $4.99 etc.

That first brass candlestick looks like a weapon from a crime drama!---I took my airpot in the car filled with ice cubes and water for our drive to North Dakota. My (just turned) 90 y/o Mother has been drinking more water than coffee lately, and that ice water stays cold for a l-o-n-g time! Unfortunately, on the day before we left to return to California, when I put the ice cubes in, the glass liner exploded. Because the unit is self-contained, there was no debris. So, I was lucky enough to find another on our last day there, when I was able to hit the 2 thrift stores in town.---That glazed frog was sure ugly cute!

@@ThrilledThrifter The return home was a bummer...wrong directions out of Casper, mind-numbing amount of road construction, 10,000 truckers on the highways (no joking), road tar and gravel all under my car from 10 miles of uncured road (grr). I was 6 1/2 hours late getting home the 3rd day. Almost soured me on my joy of driving America to restore my soul. But, like childbirth, it's almost forgotten, and I'll be ready again next year!

Julie, I dont know if I've told you or not, but I'm in a wheelchair also. I get out when I have someone to get my chair in and out of my car. I had polio at the age of 2. Can not walk. Anyway, enough about that. When I get out the first places I go are the Goodwills and salvation Armys. That's my delight. I'm like you I love to decorate my home with thrifted things. I also live by myself. My husband went home with the LORD 4 years ago this coming June.

When you picked up the bowls with the rose pattern I was thinking I felt like I'd seen someone else look at those in another video I had watched. Later when you mentioned Danielle getting the pumpkin pie plate and the calendar plate I knew that was it. I liked SO many things you looked at that I lost track. I'm glad you got that nice copper tray with the brass handles. I really liked the geranium picture too and would probably have bought that. I shouldn't even look at the art, but I can't help myself, even though I already have WAY too many pictures! I would not have bought them, but I liked the canister set with the pigs on the lids. I would have bought the gingerbread set. That is my biggest weakness.
