Life does not always go as planned, but it’s how we respond that matters. During my pageant walk, an unexpected mishap occurred, but I didn’t let that stop me, I got back up, dusted myself off, and kept shining. I learned that true beauty comes from within, and resilience is just as important as a perfect walk. Honestly, I was shaken, and it wasn’t easy but I refused to let one fall hold me back, I realised perfection isn’t the goal, I did take a tumble, but I didn’t let it define me.
I may not have taken home the crown, but I won something greater- the experience, resilience, determination and growth. Sometimes, winning isn’t about the title, but about the journey.
