A-ha is a Norwegian pop group. They are popular since the 80‘s. This song came out 1985. it starts their world wide career. Morton Harket‘s voice is one of the best and awesome in the Pop Genre. The video clip to this song is epic.

Then I saw this video last week. I could this song playing all day. The music video is really cool. Yeah his voice is like a angel. He is just amazing to have a voice that makes you feel emotions. aha are a trio of men from Oslo Norway. Take on me was released back in 1985 i was 16 then and instantly became a fan. i prefer this version but the original is just as great the video for take on me has over a billion views on youtube so maybe you should check it out. I’m 53 now and still a huge fan of AHA’s. The band AHA are very underrated and unappreciated which is just criminal to be honest with you. They have a huge back catalogue and every single aha song is different to the last on. Take aha’s song Summer Moved On it is in the guinness book of records for the longest note held in a song. i recommend you check that out. As a suggestion maybe you could do a deep dive into AHA’S music Take on me is just the tip of a very large iceberg thanks for reacting to this song. Take care 😘🇳🇴❤️🏴

So weird this is your first A-ha experience. lol. Wait until you see the original version and see what the band normally sounds like. Morton is a great vocalist finding the emotion in the band's songs despite not being a main songwriter. They do a cover of "Crying in the Rain" that is possibly the best version of it. Even Carole King (the songwriter) promotes it.

Unfortunately they replaced it with "Céline Dion - Ashes" in the extended version of Deadpool 2. Bad decision, since the unplugged version of "Take on me" works so much better in that scene. Morten also did this version on Masked singer UK. A ballsy move singing your own song on Masked singer (And a first)
