There is a Goodwill store that I go to that has their Wi-Fi on so much lockdown you can't look anything up and the building has so much metal on it that when you turn your Wi-Fi off you can't even look things up with data service. That's why unless I know it's going to provide me with a decent profit or it's something I could use myself or give to a family member, I just pass up on it. Don't want to take the risk.

Half those VERO claims are illegal and bogus. There is absolutely nothing stopping a person from selling an item that they purchased at a yard sale, thrift store, or retail shop. It's bogus, and class action lawsuits will follow one day. VERO is for somebody who makes bootleg products and claims they are their own brand. That's it.

Depending on the stain Johnson and Johnson baby shampoo and white vinager in cold water. Then a 40/60 mix of 40% vinager and 60% water in a cup. Use a sponge and dab on the stain. Rinse in cold water. Don’t have the shirt in water past 5mins. Line dry and use your fingers to flatten out the wrinkles while it’s wet. Don’t worry it doesn’t smell like vinager after it drys

its just scummy, once something has been donated it should be left at that, sold for cheap or given away. people go to amazon for new items not stuff that been sitting in a basement or who knows where for however long. this is why i dont use ebay or amazon anymore, its just a bunch of people picking crap up at goodwill and inflating the price. ill buy new from a store or go to goodwill myself

Space the shirt takes up. Listing process for a DVD is in total maybe 2 mins tops while a TShirt is closer to 10-15mins from pictures. To measurements to packing it in inventory. Shipping cost is higher on the shirt as well.

I wouldn't mind if someone did that to a for-profit store like GameStop, but thrift stores that do good things for the community with the profit they make from items donated? That's just not morally right. Now I've heard that Goodwill's CEO takes quit a chunk of the profit, but still, at least they do some things.

Goodwill is definitely for profit! Their CEO makes I think $729K a year.

Emily Archibald Ummmmmmm, the articles I’ve read stated that each state has a CEO. They all make a ridiculous amount of money. Viewing them as a philanthropic benefactor helping the community, really? How? I’m not seeing it.

@@emilyarchibald1900 the problem is, bc they have to pay there ceo so much, they bring donated items in and ask ebay prices on alot of stuff, and noones buying them anyways, i just saw a dungeons snd dragons game that goes for 60 70 on ebay at goodwill lastnight, they were asking 80, wth is goin to a goodwill to pay 80 dollars for anything let alone a boardgame that was donated to them, so i say screw it there greedy, so as a collector/reseller i gotsta be greedy lol
