Another thing you should keep an eye out for is trailer Park boys dressed all over DVD box set, that is selling on eBay brand new for about C$390-C$408, used is going about C$205-C$285, so yeah just something you should keep an eye out for, I don’t think it’s selling that much on Amazon and I don’t know why it’s so expensive on eBay.

@@ThriftSchool yeah I recently found it at a thrift store yesterday for $5, I should probably mention it’s the seasons 1-7 version, not seasons 1-9 version although that one is also pretty expensive as well, coming in at around C$350-C$385 brand new, and C$150-C$250 used.

Pretty much any complete series is worth picking up, obviously some more than others. They’re getting rarer and rarer to find at thrift stores though and your best bet is garage sales.

I do that a lot when thrifting, lol! Luckily, I keep finding things I always wanted. Theres a few toys I've yet to come across. There were these battle robots that you swipe cards on to learn new attacks that I had when I was really young that I still want. I used to have the Flavas dolls that I kinda want again. And then, Homies, the little toys out of the 50 cent machines. I can't seem to find them anywhere, and I had hundreds when I was younger.

I just use a scotty peeler and if it leaves some residue I dab a little goo-gone on the residue and rub off with a paper towel. if the sticker is super finicky I use a Heatgun to loosen up the glue. I have a link for the scotty peelers in my description. Super Cheap and work great!

I just count the pieces at home. Most board games just tell you the pieces needed on the back of the box or on the instructions. If it's missing pieces and it's still financially worth it, I'll buy them on ebay

I found a game called Rescue Polar Bears at the local Salvation Army. Only a couple sold for $120 and an auction for $80. There’s one current. Definitely my best board game find yet.

Hi man, another great video. I have a question. I’ve always kept the goodwill stickers on sealed board games and boxes. I’m scared that when I peel off the sticker the plastic will rip. Has this ever happened to you and is there any way to prevent it?

@@kylen6430 nope. I’m afraid though that that would also heat up the plastic and make it melt to the box, good idea though.

@@Nightingale357 maybe you could try it on some scrap cling wrap from the kitchen or something…but I would expect the adhesive to heat up enough long before plastic wrapping melts

@@kylen6430 yeah, that’s true. I’m know that the adhesive isn’t that strong… also the cling wrap is pretty weak, so if it does work I know it would work on the more high quality sealer used on board games. Gotta try that. Thanks!

Scotty peeler to slowly peel off the sticker. If it's really sticky, heat it up with a heat gun, if it left residue, I use Goo Gone to wipe it away with a paper towel.
