Perfect location! A beach front with rocks will protect you from storm surge or tidal waves. Also, Bacnotan in La Union is also booming just like San Juan. There will be a world class luxury resort that will rise soon in Bacnotan. It's like a luxury Dubai type of resort. The name of the resort is called "Merak Resort and Beach Club Hotel"

fun fact: La Union was known to be a Beach Capital of the North or even in the Philippines during 70s before Boracay and Siargao became famous. Ito eh sa bayan ng Bauang, La Union maraming malalaking resorts during that time. Doon din nag birthday si Susan Roses ng ika 24th bday nea noon kasama si FPJ sa malaking 5 star Resort noon ng La Union which is Cresta del Mar resort na naidocumented pa ng GMA News before... sa bayan din ng Bauang, La Union nagpakasal si Nora Aunor before. Would you believe bago sumikat si Rosana Roces at naging Rosana screen name nea naging club dancer sya before sa Bauang during 80s tas nadiscovered at nakilalang sexy star noong 90s. Nalaos at dina naging premier beach ang bayan ng Bauang sa buong bansa noong 90s na pati yong naglalakihang resorts na concrete like Cresta del Mar resort eh na abandoned na...tas lately na nakilala ang San Juan, La Union during late 90s lalo na year 2000s pataas bilang Surfing Capital of the North though 1980 nagstart ang Surfing sa San Juan... pero nakilala naman ngayon ang bayan ng Bauang sa mga grapes na kauna unahan din sila sa buong Pinas since 70s...
