if i be honest, your red tail they seems to be growing slower than normal, i say you should feed them everyday if you don’t and feed a different variety of food. Pellets, feeder guppys, tilapia, raw frozen shrimp and more.

Yes I would agree feed a more varied diet like shrimp, tilapia, mussels, etc and you will start to see better growth and better colors!

A custom pvc rack over the indoor pool pond could raise the light up toa level that would benefit the plants. Just an idea. Cheap and easy.

I have a golden clown, knife, fish, and I’m just gonna say it is the best fish ever. You don’t really have to keep them with a bunch of oxygen, even though it’s best because they will come up to the surface and take glups of air.

I would really recommend quarantining for 3+ weeks, if not a month. Some diseases take awhile to show, and you risk getting your other fish sick by only quarantining a week

Facts, patience is key. I remember my friend just always threw his newly bought fishes in his 125 gallon tank. Then a ick outbreak erupted. I told him to get at least a 10 gallon quarantine tank & leave then there for a month. He didn’t listen to me & had to say “I told you so.” It broke my heart for all the fishes that died to it.

Your content is great I found your channel when I got a baby painted turtle on October 21st 2022. I was filling in a ground up stump with black dirt and when I was leveling the area with a rake I got him thinking it wad a cool rock but to be honest he is even better. He was the size of a quarter and is now the size of an Eisenhower silver dollar in a 20 gal tall tank with cory cats some fancy guppies and a stars and stripes betta that is purple with red tail markings is his best friend. They eat togather and when Franklin the baby turtle is on his turf ramp the betta Barry will lay on his back from time to time.

One thing you need to watch out for with using the plant growout tank as a quarantine tank too is some fish meditations will kill plants. Just watch out for that!

I feel like u should stop putting any fish that get big into ur 25g cuz ur redtails were in there and I haven't noticed even the slightest growth in them, and I know that they grow fast cuz I have one, so it wouldn't make sense for them to be that small, so I don't think u should keep ur bigger fish in there

Quarantining fish should be for 4-5 weeks not 1 week, please do proper research on how to quarantine. Carson you have a younger audience that will follow your steps.
