Probably a combination. The easiest way would be to record voice stuff while playing and then re-record the good lines in post for the final video.

To be fair, most of the break of this game were a result of Josh skipping the tutorial, which the entire game depends on to progress but somehow nobody noticed it was so easy to bypass. They really needed Josh "testing" here.

One simple (yet utterly boring) fix is to just put invisible walls where one must not go. Also, the fact that nothing resets you if you fall below the map can't be excused. A simple script that kills the player if they go too far down shoudn't be too difficult

Josh have you tried to put your backpack on the marker and then picking it up? The backpack is unique, considering the game tracks it's whereabouts and doesn't allow duplicates. The quest should trigger due to some condition "is close to marker and picks up backpack" or something along those lines, I'd assume. Could be worth a try.
