Dude I've built him too He's not that really bad like everyone's saying, but ngl he really need some babysitting if you want to pull of that 1hp then that's when big DMG happens. I have him at 3.7 HP/2.7ish ATK/135 SPD/64 CR and 150ish CDmg running Longevous and Rutilant to get those CR ceiling high enough to proc Rutilant.

Arlan is a fav of mine and now that I have Aventurine, I've been able to keep Arlan at 1hp for an entire fight and never really be worried about him dying. My build isn't anywhere near yours but i'm working on it. I love Arlan so much and even if i can't use him for super high end content, running around and playing him feels super fun and satisfying!! Great animations, great voice, top tier design just ugh...I adore him. I WILL make him work, hoyo can pry him from my cold dead hands.

No mater what people say about him I’ll like his gameplay: weighty animations, satisfying audio, fun hp mechanic plus I like shielders like March and Geppy, granted having at least Claras LC helps a fair bit with his survivability in longer fights, but never felt like his deaths were unfair, always me either forgetting or mistiming shields

People are to invested in these tier list Arlan is probably one of the best 4 star damage dealers in the game you just have to play him with low hp and he does crazy numbers. You just have to like the high risk high reward playstyle.

@@runic6452 ​ yea he is like lvl 7 on his dmg traces, in the video lol if you look at Arlan's multipliers they are some of the highest for 4 star at 345% on 3 targets at E6 with only 110 Energy Ult, this is not even taking into account his talent which skyrockets his damage even more. Also he could do the same numbers in the video and more with his 4 star LC or the free 5 star destruction LC

He does well with good investment and teams ( like almost anyone else ), the drawback is his difficult mechanic that require a shielder/Fu xuan for comfort play so it is not really about damage to me I mean he can also 0 cycle clear with the usual hypercarry team but yea that is quite risky for casual players 😂

Min has similar stats to the one he is using but with The Fall of an Eon LC s5. He does really good dmg. I use this exact team. He is just extremely hard to keep at low hp in long fights. If only the new LC would activate when at 15% and not 25% hp to trigger its effect

Oh man, those stats are worse than my half-built Arlan... Surely this won't be that impre- "We're gonna equip with him with Blade's lightcone" ... Aaand now you've eclipsed my Arlan's atk, crate, cdmg and have Bronya AND have the Rutilant Arena I've been failing to acquire. Damnit. But yeah, while Arlan might not come close to his version in the beta he's carried my team through every MoC floor (except current floor 9) so far and I wouldn't choose any lightning DPS over him.

I don't know what dmg is good or not, since i don't have bronya (biggest buff for blade) i have no idea what is nice dmg and when, since i do 30-60k with a blast basic atk, with 5 enemies the follow up can be 100k+ with 70-90k ultimate, but this arlan is pretty decent, but bronya and tingyun helps very much

People speak sh*t about a lot of characters. Like Herta and Himeko. But come on, there are multiple examples of them closing all the content in the game. It just depends on the investments. Plus, E6 Arlan deals a lot of damage to 3 enemies at once. And not every character must be played as a hypercarry. He doesn't use SP and can be used as a subdps. Even in this example he showed 50k on a skill in a single target. And he didn't use any SP. DHIL hits super hard. But just divide his damage in 3 SP he uses. And take away his supports.

The problem about characters like Arlan and Herta is that they are simply not worth investing we are not at a point in the game where you have luxury to invest in characters for the fun of it (Assuming you are F2P) there are a lot better choices so in the end Arlan and Herta simply lose in terms of value they are simply not worth taking up an entire character slot (Speaking meta-wise if you enjoy a character then use them) for example If you were to use Tingyun instead of Arlan the total amount of damage you'd get would be a lot more compared to if you were to use a sub-dps Arlan same thing applies to Herta and as for Himeko well It's not just Himeko except for QQ all of the erudition characters for some reason have very low damage multipliers and their kit does not give them insane buffs like IL or JL's does

@@oblyx1828 I agree with you, dont know what the other guy is laughing about, i started playing when kafka appeared and only now i am getting to more end game, farming those materials for tracers and light cones took me alot of time, even more when the exp books are so shit in this game, not everyone plays on turbo mode doing the meta farms and management, i have been playing the game for the fun of it, thats why i only have 2 lvl 80 characters and no light cones lvl 80 for example, i am trailblaze lvl 63 too, i just been taking the game casualy, and having fun, of course has a f2p player i do have to be careful on with characters i invest.

Nope. It applies anytime the wearer loses hp or consumes their own. The effect applies for the whole kit. Plus, Blade doesn't even damage with his skill XD

I dont think hes investing much in Arlan. Reusing sets, expending too much credits, reusing others cone isnt rly big investment. Not to say i know what he has done, but i personally seem to attract Arlan when pulling on banners hes on 😂 so i also have him rather high eidolon too and etc. Planned to invest in him aswell for lols, but hes very low priority until i finish main teams. And imo noone should heavy invest in Arlan anyways besides for jokes and if they (like me) dont feel like building Serval out of spite.
