The Story of Johnny and Arasaka with Spider Murphy and Rogue and others is a bit confusing in the game, in the actual lore, there is a bit more to it.

This game had a terrible launch... but in current state it's certainly one of the greatest of all time. So much care went into making Night City and it's characters feel like a real place you've never been before. I'm glad to see Soda is interested in learning about it instead of just skipping through the dialog like some people I've seen play it.
