The part that hits me the most every time I watch this is when Celestia realizes what she's done and breaks down. The emotion on her face is just… incredible.

Fun fact: If you look closely at the fight scene, you can see that Celestia mostly uses shields. While Luna is trying to directly attack her with laser magic, Celestia doesn’t want to hurt her sister so she uses shields!

This fan made video and song are so epic that it has spawned TWO Luna centered responses; the more popular "Moon Rises", which is more a Luna lead up to Nightmare Moon, and the equally as great if less reviewed "Luna's Reply" which is also in song and follows this song so perfectly, that I have seen duets where the songs have been combined. Beautiful. "Luna's Reply" is these events and her banishment from her perspective, and her being just as guilt ridden as Celestia.

Previously it was pink, now it's pastel rainbow-colored, as we can see in the show right now. So yeah, it branded her for the rest of her life :q 06:32 Also the craters on the Moon are in the shape of a Unicorn head now, which will also keep reminding her for the next 1000 years about what happened between them :q 07:18 The song is what started it all. First Ponyphonic made the song, then someone else (Warp Out) decided to animate it, and it took them 2 years to make it. So a real piece of art that they put a lot of heart into.

Luna had ever-growing resentment toward her older sister who had shined bright among her loyal subjects and upon giving into her sadness and jealousy, she transformed into the wicked mare known as Nightmare Moon. Knowing Celestia could not fight back towards her own sister, she reluctantly used the elements at the very last minute, imprisoning Luna on the moon. Realizing what she had done, it was an event she tearfully regrets. Such is a fate that she had to dutifully undergo to save herself and her many subjects in her kingdom.

I see that 10/10 coming since "Lullaby For A Princess" is the one of the best songs that ponyphonic even make along with "Moon Rises" and like I said before, the animation is hand drawn, frame by frame for almost 3 years. So it is safe to say that "Lullaby For A Princess" is one of the best songs and animation from the fandom, you should check out Snowdrop and Double Rainboom since they are some of the high quality animation in the early (golden age) of the fandom. This is just my point of view and spoiler (I think) but from "Lullaby For A Princess Animation" we can see how the Element of Harmony passes on as the harmony between the two bearers gone with Princess Celestia and Princess Luna (in her evil form Nightmare Moon) fighting and banished other on the Moon and because the spark changes each time so Nightmare Moon (as formed bearer) though the spark did not work until Twilight realize the virtues of her friends and accept them as her friends which caused the spark and reveal the hidden element which the Element of Harmony have found the new bearers and changing it shapes to the cutie mark of each bearers (which you will know why latter in MLP:FIM although the show not saying it)

If you really wanna pay attention to details, her hair changes after she uses the elements of harmony, she also tucks her sister into bed each night which she is then outside doing with the moon as if she is tucking Luna in every single night like before. I’d also recommend The Moon Rises, Children of the Night, and Discord if you haven’t seen them already!

I am sure I was not the only one who reccommanded this one, but I did it specifically because you've seen some official songs and episodes. This is the kind of creativity which brought so many people, me included into this fandom. Because there are lot of things that can be said about us, but lack of creativity is not one of them. Music, animations, art, custom made lifesize plushies, just name it... There are things like Fallout: Equestria which is, you guessed it, crossover between MLP and Falout game series. that is fandom within fandom and there are music, videogames and animations depicting this world as well. Groups like Wasteland Wailers, who did entire Albums of music inspired by this crossover and much much more. But FoE is kind of rabbithole so I would be careful about that 😀
