I have a question when you wash those towels you use do you wash them with your regular towels or just a load of towels with ink on them . I haven’t tried washing mine because I didn’t know if that ink would come off on my good towels

I think you might be getting your techniques mixed up. Your backgrounds are lovely, but not batik. I'm pretty sure Gina Kay has a video to do batik effect with wax paper, so that it gets all the crackle effect of batik.

My husband is originally from Sudbury Suffolk and he knows of Newton Green. He used to go past there on his way to Ipswich. It was a charming place, small and quiet! He is now in Maine. Hi Marion I hope you are well. I remember doing Batik when I was at school many moons ago. I now have a Daughter & 2 beautiful daughters. We did batik on fabric using wax and dipping the fabric into dye. It was amazing. Julie. @@marionemberson No problem! Yes, Marion, this is the video with Scrunch in it! And I bought it as well as the clear gloss fine embossing powder. Oh darn! I just realized I was going to use your links below the video to order them so you'd get credit! Arrrrghhhhhh! Dang it! And yes I stayed til the end! So many ways to heat emboss! My favorite I think was the very last one when you used the white tissue paper to dat on the embossing ink. I apologize for not using your link - my memory just isn't what it used to be - 71 is taking a toll on it. Thank goodness my bosses love me!
