My dumb@ss finally figured out the common denominator to all the bad food hes eaten in ATL and it's the same problem with my city. THE SOUL FOOD. Our people open soul food restaurants and usually the food is mid or trash and then has the nerve to be overpriced. Theyre traps for people who don't know how to cook or don't know anything about soul food. Most black people know soul food is supposed to be slamming but affordable, miraculous in other words. I've been disappointed with mostly every soulfood joint I've eaten out so I don't think he's just picking on Atlanta. We've got to do better

Mr. Everything cured me from depression! My hubby worked in the film industry a few years back, so he would be gone 5 days a week alllll day. When he would bring me them late night cold and soggy mr everything sandwiches that were left over from catering!!! I would be blissful! So good! 😋

This is awesome news! Thanks to Groupon I tried their food a few years ago and it was good. Unfortunately, we lost a Mr. Everything Cafe location in New Orleans. They closed down during COVID.

Or cook the cheese with the protein like u do in a philly cheesesteak. Cook that cheese with the protein then lay it on top 👌🏼 but cheesy rice is crazy too. Funny u say that my wilfe is brazillian and they cook rice and add a layer of mazzarella to the top of the rice (nit every brazillian may do this but my inlaws deff do this lmao)
