Yeah the grab is a real killer. I even jumped away cause I thought a grab was coming (the normal dash across the room one). But he still got me. Going to pin you here so people can find you and search up the mod! I'll prob inevitably use it in the future to make finding skulls like Yaksha easier though. Because people want to see him....

It would be really cool to see you use the mod to do like themed runs: "Fire & Ice" (Frost & Mage), "Two Man Army" (Mummy & Bomber), etc. Just using the mod for themed runs or doing highly requested runs where your luck isn't coming up when it comes to finding certain skulls (Dark Paladin or Davy Jones). 😁

Slime has telepathy and knows which item you don't want him to double up on, and he always doubles the item that will aggravate you the most because no one ever says "Thank You" to him and he's passive aggressive.

8:08 - I checked how Desair works in the game (reminder: I do this sometimes 😛) and it's just "amplify damage from spirits you control by 35%". So when you got your second one, it was 1.35 * 1.35 = 82% amplification, beside Go-Getter! More technical details for the ones interested: it has an ability attacher that adds a damage modifier to the character, which multiplies damage with the key "Spirit" by 1.35. Every spirit has that key in their attack's HitInfo instance.

21:00 - For 2+ Omen, I'm a "Mercury Heart over Reckless Posture" guy, as the damage reduction is so small, if you get hit 5 times to get the maximum Reckless Posture effect, most of the time, you just die. Also, I'm a "fix Fairy Tale early" guy, to get Oberon as soon as I get my 4th item, even though the inscription itself has no effect on cooldown or damage; Oberon is just good to have early.

yeah, Yggy has upgraded to an early run jeopardizing boss, I had many great starts demolished by a Yggy slap into multiple stones taking decent chunks of HP, or getting hit by multiple orbs as my dodge timer resets. His attack patterns deserve more respect now this tends to just draw out the fight since he does them soo frequently.

This run was definitely a victory--not in the short-term, but definitely in the future! Omenron put so many holes in the castle that it's bound to crumble sometime in the future! Dark Hero can suck on that! Well, all messing around aside, it was still a decently powerful Oberon run, but double Omen choked enough health out of you to make winning a bit more difficult; the damage was solid, but survivability was nonexistent due to Slime being M.I.A. this time around! (As for the mod--as much as it'd increase the frequency of people meming each run, I'm not against it in the least, especially for themed runs like Bonesky mention!) Here’s a fun little idea for a challenge; only use and upgrade the skull that you get after the first hero’s fight. You can also do it where you have to randomly buy an item off of the item shop as well. Been thinking about doing that myself and can only imagine the pain that comes from it.

btw beelz, if you're having problems getting hit by the dark hero's screen slash where you jump in the air in the middle to dodge it, just stand in one of the corners and it NEVER hits you. Might have to dash to get some i-frames if the RNG decides to hit you anyway, but it's FAR easier to dodge in the corners than in the middle of the room.

Others have said it, but I'm going to repeat it. Use the mode to make really cool runs, to show us 0.1% chance runs, and to start with skuls that are hard to find. Just disclose when you use it. You have proven that you can beat this game without it enough. You aren't competing with anyone for any kind of stakes. The mod can give us better content and save you time, use it.

The desair effect is just what it says; any spirit (including oberon) gets 35% dmg amp simply by having desair in the build. Guess that was because having 1 omen only for the fact of getting another spirit wasn't worth at all so they added that extra effect. CAN'T BELIEVE YOU ACTUALLY GOT DOUBLE DESAIR 70% dmg amp for spirits

I think the choose your skul mod sounds like a great idea! I understand the issue with people possibly thinking your rigging runs though, which is sad. Maybe you can in the future, which would be awesome for skulls that we don't get to see you play as often that are requested (for example I've been hoping for a predator run lol).

I think what it means by elementals is spirits in general. I mainly think this because when I think of elementals in this game I think of spirits and also it’s plural so that makes me think more than Oberon.

One thing they should do for rock star is have the Amps give you 20 charge off the bat when you summon them to make getting the band out quicker because with the swap that would give you 90% progress towards the band which wouldn't give you it immediately, but would allow you to get it off much quicker because it is hard to do in hard mode. Also, the band should hurt everything on the screen.

Downloaded hardmode update on console today. It changed my language setting to Korean so I had to blindly fumble through menus until I found the setting and switched it back to English. Cleared a scuffed run of Clown I picked up in the shop. Got Expose Weakness first then King Slayer, lost my first life super early and somehow didn't suck and die for the rest of the run. Got Pot of Greed off Joan with 3 legendaries, including The Ring which I got SUPER early, I wasn't super strong and my quint was flipping Sphinx which at one point chain froze Hero phase 2 in a corner. Would've lost the run without Kingslayer.

Idk why Reckless is so good for you, you are not getting hit that often, and when you get hit you're not getting hit quickly in a row. Also, if you get hit, you take massive damage.

Yes. He chooses an item at random from what you have in your inventory. So getting rid of items you DEFINITELY don't want a duplicate of is the safest way to try and get something you actually care about.
