(warning, quite a ramble ahead, I talk a lot so just skip this if you’re the type of person who doesn’t wanna sit through a multi-paragraph comment lol; nothing abt herobrine btw I’m literally a minute into the vid, just a ramble about Minecraft mechanics and lag issues, mostly regarding spiders) 0:57 I recently just started playing Minecraft again for the first time in like three years after my friend got me back into it again, and so I’m very new to a LOT of the changes since then, both obvious and subtle-for example, creepers definitely did NOT used to spawn THIS much, literally I cannot turn my back for even a second anymore without one showing up behind me and just wrecking all my shit. Also it’s wild just how far of a distance they can see you from now, I’m assuming that’s part of how they’ve gotten so much sneakier, they prolly see me from a distance that I don’t notice them from and just make their way to me as I turn my back while I’m oblivious oof. But anyways… My original point was about the spiders; I personally feel like their mechanic has become a LOT more finicky and glitchy. Like sometimes they’ll be fine during the day like they’re supposed to be, but half the time they just start going at me for literally no reason in broad daylight. They also sometimes do the opposite, and will be completely chill and unresponsive in total darkness. Just feels real wonky, and I’m thinking there’s some kinda bug there. Really makes me sad tbh, cuz after watching the KZbinr Pastra a bunch and hanging out for his Haunted smp stream(incredible stream btw, everyone should go watch it, it’s utter chaos), I got the incredible idea from him to get a pet spider by just kinda keeping it in a well lit house. And now I can’t really do that because the light mechanic is just so unreliable now, the chances of the spider just foregoing it and attacking me anyways is way too likely oof. Though, this could just be an Xbox thing and it’s a one off incident in this vid? Idk, I’ve only been playing on Xbox lately since my computer is still broken, so idk if the issue is the same on pc. But at the very least it is very present on the Xbox version, and rlly wouldn’t surprise me if it’s just a bug cuz… it’s Microsoft. C’mon. This game has become so INCOMPREHENSIBLY glitchy and laggy in the past few years with all these updates, like literally I have been regularly having to wait TWENTY WHOLE MINUTES for my world to just LOAD, and that’s not even talking about the mess that is getting my skin to load. Tldr; Spiders are probably bugged out, and Minecraft’s laggy and slow af. Still fun tho. Can say that I’ve successfully spent about two weeks now obsessively playing and building for hours on end. Forgot how fun it was-guess I really just needed a break from it after burning myself out from obsessing over it nonstop for the good 5 years after I learned of its existence. Plus, the new updates have made the exploration aspect way more fun, as someone who had done and found basically everything the game had to offer at the time. Keeping myself separated from the update news was really good, since now I’ve got a lot of new, cool stuff that I’ve got no clue about to explore and discover. …I’m gonna go actually continue the vid now and keep looking for a dark red pen to outline my freaking drawing. Just realized I’ve been sitting here for like 15 minutes typing this out with my phone flashlight still left on to look for a damn pen rip-

I've personally experienced the spiders being completely passive in total darkness quite a few times, but I've never had them attack me in broad daylight. Sorry about that dude, that must be really annoying. Also 100% agree on the creepers I cannot count the number of times I've looked through my window during the night to see like 87 of them just gathered in the field by my house lmao
