Disagree Edith isn't an Effective Counter to Argus in 1v1 You never lost to an Argus because most of them can be dumb feeders who don't know how to use him A Good Argus User knows when to Engage Edith They know when to Attack and Harass Her aswell Edith gets heavily Countered if Argus starts building Demon Hunter and Sea Halberd Since when Edith uses Ulti her defenses turn into More HP Which makes Punish and Devour (DHS and SH Passive) from both items stronger I have won against Edith multiple times as an Argus Main and they're Pretty much Predictable and Easy to Maneuver If you want a Hero Effective at Countering Argus Use Gatotkaca Since Gatotkaca can avoid Argus Ulti by using his Ult too His Passive can Match up Against Argus Passive And he can also Build Dominance And Blade Armor which is way better when used with Gatotkaca

@ideologia.a I thought that Edith turns her def into HP because I remember hearing it from someone at one point I can only Agree in Edith Countering Argus if it's Early-Mid Game Or if Edith has Allies aswell Considering he won't be too hard to cc Argus can be weak and easy to counter Because that is what Argus Mains want you to think If you play him Wisely you can Dominate against Meta EXP Laners like Yu Zhong,Lapu-Lapu,Thamuz,Dyrroth, Khaleed And many more Also Argus isn't Fully Weak and Easy to Counter considering he has double Dashes in his Kit He can Sustain Faster than Ruby or other Spellvamp Heroes He can Self Reset in a Teamfight He can be a Counter against Burst Heroes And it's easier to Comeback in a Losing Position Via Farming or Split push Ofcourse Early Game Argus isn't as strong like Meta EXP considering he lacks Damage and has low HP Like you don't Fight an Edith Head on Early Game like a headless chicken

Depends if you want to be an all out burst or a single burst but most argus user like me tends to use master assassin for higher xtra damage and also for additional damage on war cry. That way soft enemies can't react very fast
