Great scores and great prices. Those stores were a refreshing change from Goodwill. That first store especially was so nice..how clean and organized it is. Really impressive that they take pride in their store like that. Nicest thrift store of all.

The Gothic lacy bowl you found is from the early 70s and we called it Mediterranean Style. Lots of black rod iron decor.

Great stores, fun finds. The cloisonné horse was another treasure. It may have come on a stand originally and sell for $180 and up. Even without the stand they sell for over $100. The light blue is sought after as well and can sell for even more. Congrats on the glassy baby, as well as all your great finds. You deserve it all Danni. Your integrity is so refreshing and I hope your generosity is returned a thousand fold 😁

Hello 💫Loved the “ mom and pop “ stores you went to! First store especially like all the art pottery you picked up ( wow re the blue special marked one ) , Norway pewter pieces / elephant pewter ash tray and vintage Italy vase🌺🌿. Second store finds really like the Tera cotta cats, the pixie figurines, painted rabbit box and wooden turtle puzzle box. And third store favorite picks were frosted glass candle holder and ❤🧡the giraffe art piece was a great find! Thanks again Danni for taking us along on these shop adventures.

Brava to you for thrifting! I used to shop at Goodwill until a couple of years ago when I discovered the Big Cheeses at GW make somewhere between $200 thousand and 1 million dollars per year (depending on what internet search you do). I also found out that employees with disabilities are often paid less than minimum wage (as low as 22 cents per hour), whistleblowers have been fired, and safety issues have led to tragedy. Now my fave thrift store is The Humane Society Thrift Store, also the fave of all our town which voted it the Best Thrift Store - even against GW! We also have thrift stores for hospice, Teen Challenge, and other local charities. I am even more ethical about where my little money goes.

36:45 when i first started resellingfrom the local GW, i passed up so many fire-and-light, glassy-babies, vintage murano, and real antique glass, i could kick myself, this was back when the goodwill was not selling online, but, now & then, we can still find good items at the goodwill😊😊😊

I'm not sure, but I think the Glassy Baby creators sell these "for purpose" and some goes to charity? I think that's why they ar popular. They are beautiful and collectible, but other than my speculation on a cause, I don't really understand either why they are so expensive.

Omgoodness! Thank you for showing me frogs! I love the small green one. I think it's a little hobby piece from the 70s. My grandmother had a huge one that my aunt glazed for her sitting next to her tv for as long as I was alive and she was. Then I inherited it. Sadly something dropped off my dresser onto him and shattered him into a million pieces. All the kings horses and all the kings men couldn't put froggy together again!

These stores reminded me of the thrift shops and charity shops in the Uk and Ireland. So different in feel from Goodwill and some great finds. I went wild on vacation there last summer, I couldn’t believe I was finding so many beautiful and unique pieces at fantastic prices.

What an awesome store! They have priced items to sell instead of other retailers whose items end up in the oversea landfills/ocean. Please check out some of the documentaries online where clothes from the big chain thrift stores become other countries major problem. It was very enlightening to me.

Too bad you don’t live in Pennsylvania. I was watching Karen of Lavender Clothesline yesterday and she passed on a set of silver fade wine glasses at Goodwill. She did get the set of drinking glasses,like the one you showed, though. Funny thing is I think her set was missing one glass it had 5 instead of 6. Oh the irony😂🤣
