I finally got inside the Idris.. and it blew my mind. (Star Citizen 3.23.1)

Already Star Citizen 3.23.1 has hit the PTU servers and it gives us some early access to some of Invictus week which allows you to tour the inside of the Idris. Some things are still getting cleared up for the live build, but finally getting inside the Idris was extraordinary.

@@Alpha99333 CSO's are awesome. Unfortunately, you can't really walk around in them. Playing though High Charity would be neat if you could fly it around, but not many games can outpace Star Citizen in terms of just being able to walk about.

Yep, this is the main thing that drew me to Star Citizen and had me drop Elite. The ships lose concept of scale and immersion when you can't actually go inside them.

Ollie, does the PTU have the terminal kiosk bugged out in outpost? Usually I can buy things for my Aurora MR, however small their cargo was, now I can't. Is it a kiosk issue or Aurora issue? Do CIG disable aurora's cargo?

In order to enhance safety measures, I believe it would be beneficial for CIG to consider implementing airshields on all ships. This could involve integrating them into bay doors, hangar doors, docking doors, and regular ship doors to prevent decompression incidents.

I feel about the Idris series of ships the same way I feel about the U.S. Navy's Littoral Combat Ships. If you know, you know. As for the Brig. When you entered the cell and closed the door behind you, then it gave you the prompt to open the door again. It would have been funny if instead of opening the door a little LOL popped up instead.

5:11 If/when we board this thing for the XenoThreat mission coming up, if we have to go from the hangar to the bridge, that's gonna be a haaaaaaaiiiiirrrrry battle. The path that's mapped here is very long and winding. Lots of hallway FPS to complete going that route.

Its gonna be a while yet. The servers can't handle that kind of load for players to use it. Who knows though. Maybe after server meshing is in, they will drop it for us. They may wait until after SQ42 to release to prevent spoilers. And Olli doesn't answer questions.

As soon as the trespass message appears, it means they are getting ready to head to the next station. You need to leave the ship, or else you get chucked into prison. You can run for the port bridge entrance, or EVA out.

Until recently, I played on a puter I put together in 2016, with parts from 2012 and up. And the game gets better for performance each patch. That puter still runs SC.

I think the Idris is pointless without the implementation of NPC crew. It's better to have 100 people crew 50 two person ships than it is to crew 1 Idris. Also most players won't want to sit around on an Idris waiting for something fun to do. NPC are a must for fun gameplay.

bothers me sooo much that you can hear the fireworks inside the Idris. How does CIG think the sonic shockwave is reaching the hull of the idris in a vacuum?!

The same way you are able to hear the guns and explosions of other ships. When in vacuum, the sounds are artifially created by your ship or your helmet. CIG also showcased an ingame option to turn this off for a more realistic feeling. I also rember them mentioning this system to be tied to your ship, so when the power of the ship runs out, the speakers will be dead as well, so you can't hear anything that's going on outside anymore.
