Real excited for Alice in Borderland, Tokyo Revengers physicals, and Sakamoto Days next year. Recently picked up/got gifted volumes of Kaiju No 8, Ultraman, Kaiji, Blood on the Tracks, Astra, Assassination Classroom, Hinamatsuri, and Akira Toriyama’s Manga Theater.

The Witch and the Beast!! I just got caught up with it a few days ago and it was an easy binge read. I went into it completely blind as well, based on the cover and title i thought it might be a cheesy and dramatic romance story but it's definitely not!!! The main characters are great, the side characters are great, and the storyline itself is so good!! Something i wasn't expecting with this series however is the /gore/. Those scenes however give me tokyo ghoul vibes and i love it.

I'm so glad that more people are starting to notice The Witch and The Beast now like OMG, I also went in blind to the manga like when it only had 3 volumes out and holy-shit I was blown away with the story and how good the art is, I hope that more people will start reading it so it one day can get an Anime, the manga is Top tier stuff.

Great haul!! And the manga that i am excited for this 2022 are record of ragnarok, alice in borderland and tokyo revengers physicals but im mostly hyped for record of ragnarok since the covers are great and the artstyle is top notch!! Literally one of the best manga out there in terms of art.

Nice haul! I'm very excited about all of the volumes of Yona I picked up during the sale on rightstuf! I absolutely LOVE The Witch and the Beast. It's one of my favorite series, and I've read up through volume 7. Great art and dark fantasy atmosphere. The love really kicked in for me at volume 2. I hope you enjoy it!

Kaiju no.8 is definitely a fun read. Typical fun action SJ series with kaijus. I caught up on the chapters and definitely can't wait for the vol 2 next year.

Happy Holidays and Great video as always Boogie. I’m completely caught up with The Witch and The Beast and already preordered volume 8. It’s actually a very good dark fantasy with great world building, characters and action hope you enjoy it! Also I actually do reread previous volumes whenever I get new ones and it’s been a while since the last read lol. The titles I’m looking forward to next year are definitely Mato Seihei no Slave and Alice in Borderland. Some series I’ve been hauling recently are: Ajin volume 17, call of the Night Volume 5, Beauty and the Feast volume 2, Levius, Zom 100 volume 4, Blue period volume 5, Kaiju #8 volume 1 and Dorohedoro volumes 16-20.

I started it when the first chapter came out on the Shonen Jump app and can never wait for a new chapter to come out.

I am excited for Okaeri Alice (Welcome Back Alice) by Shuzo Oshimi, licensed by Vertical for 2022. It's a story about three childhood friends, two boys and a girl. The story revolves around their love triangle. One of the boys transitions into a girl during his teenage years while being apart from his/her two childhood friends. (S)he is reunited with them during middle school, and to the shock of his/her female and male friend, (s)he has changed a lot. This causes confusion, pain, and many other feelings, both negative and positive from both friends. I can't go into detail, 'cause I'd be spoiling some of the story. Right now, there are 19 chapters online. I suggest pooeple give it a try. Shuzo Oshimi is an amazing mangaka.

I am very excited for Tokyo Revengers. HOWEVER another new series I am over the moon excited for is Shadows House which Yen Press picked up for June release. I follow the scans so I am so happy to finally be able to support the series. There is an anime as well which is great. It's such a creepy and wholesome series. If you liked The Promised Neverland, then definitely check out Shadows House.
