the roll ive stuck with for my matador has been fullchoke, lightmag, pulse monitor and opening shot and i just never went back for another one. never thought id like pulse on a shotty but its now one of my favs and has saved me soo many times in crucible and trials

I have 3 Matadors i kept 1) rifled barrel, smooth bore with accurized rounds or tac mag, tunnel vision and opening shot with a range master work. Native 95 range. 2) Smooth bore, corkscrew, accurized rounds, light mag with lead from gold and opening shot with a stability master work. 3) (oldest one i have) smooth bore, small bore, with accurized and light mag, perpetual motion and killing wind with a handling master work.

Don't feel bad about the roll. Mine is rifled/smallbore, accurized/light mag, lead from gold, and opening shot with a reload masterwork. I thankfully have a good found verdict and riiswalker to make up for it even if the matador is superior

I got one of these with Threat Detector and One-Two Punch. I've yet to make One-Two Punch work (because activating non-enhanced One-Two Punch is a bitch), but knowing I can do some melee shenanigans if I set it up right keeps me going.

Gotta get this off my chest, I was in the same boat as SirD so I grabbed a buddy and duo grinded the ogre on master determined to get a decent matador and maybe just maybe a couple spiky pieces of artifice. After 20 clears and 0 matador drops I raged and quit. I don't know about the final boss farm, but the ogre farm *FUCKING BLOWS!*
