Peterbilts and KWs are the luxury trucks in the fleet. You got as lucky as I did to get one! I drove for 9 months with werner before I did a semester of college this past fall. Getting my hazmat and tanker now to see if I can get a job hauling fuel. If not, I'm going back to Werner likely!

Nice truck I worked at Werner for a year had a freight liner century(my first truck) then a 387 Peter built and a pro star I enjoyed my time at Werner. I ran Pennsylvania to Michigan on a dedicated run

I know you're new to the Peter belt truck listen to me when you set down on the driver's seat reach around to the bottom of the front seat cushion if your setting in the seat grab the bottom of the cushion and pick up and pull it forward it will extend out so the bottom seat is way longer and more comfortable for the long rides I rode one a couple of years never knew it would extend out try it makes a big difference on your legs at the end of a long day seating in it

Werner offered me 0.55cpm 2 weeks otr 2 days off for team division $2,500 sign on bonus, I start orientation monday, for being a rookie 0.55cpm is a great starter pay with a minimum $77K salary $81k max, no touch freight drop n hook, truck assignment ive selected a peterbilt 579 as primary, secondary freightliner cascadia if peterbilt 579 isn't available, i ship out to laredo monday and test this friday with roadmaster and will pass my cdl test!

I’m doing great!! I did train with a mentor only for 2 weeks and I try to at least get 3000 miles a week doesn’t always happen but I try my best!

Warner will pay for school if you graduate from there with a certificate . School is one month , seven thousand dollars. Those that don't graduate in that time own $7,000 to Roadmaster and they will not give you any further training. There are other ways to get your CDL other than through Roadmaster. Before you sign a binding contract for a lot of money with a slick talking recruiter just do your research and see what works best for yourself .

Looks like luxury to me. Commercial driver since mid-80s. Days of no power steering, no cruise, no air ride, no automated. Crying over spilled truck milk, a person won't last. Crying in trucking isn't allowed
